Hi! I'm glad to have found this forum.
My decent into keyboard madness has been rather slow but I am completely taken by it now. I admit that I have gone a bit overboard on eBay but I'm reigning that in now.
I vaigly remember as a kid a keyboard that I simply thought felt amazing to type on. It must have been a Model M but I'm not sure. Then I forgot about it until I started to hear about mechanical keyboards but none of them quite had the same satisfactory feeling (at least most of the modern ones didn't).
Then I head about the Model M from Linus Tech Tips. I was also unsatisfied with my Razer Tartarus so I started to build my own keypad. Which lead my to discover different kinds of keyswitches. Which lead me to Chyros's channel where I leaned about the Model F and then I was done for.
Anyway, thanks for the community and I'm looking forward to more keyboard madness.
