Originative says my credit card was issued in China

That means nothing, friend.

I doubt that originative has been compromised, but they do need to renew their damn cert.

It does mean something,  it means that data transmission between you and that server is encrypted. obviously that doesn't protect you against whoever receives the data, but it's def more than nothing and I think it's what Latin meant. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Anyway, it turns out that Sherry got me confused with another order and there was no problem. The package is shipped.

https means something really bad when SSL has a heartbleed bug lol.

Back on topic, all my purchases (three to four I believe) from Originative are done with a card issued in China. Even if your card was issued in China, this shouldn't be a problem at all.
