Actually you might be able to sell them to people who have already harvested keys from a space saver board, to fill in the keys that aren't in a moogle kit.  You still have the short rshift and the wrong row del/end/pgdn keys but still.  I'd be interested, if I hadn't already sold my space saver set.  And I still would be interested in a non-munged-up numpad zero (I have a set of nice doubleshots that had a numpad zero with some serious shine/fingernail marks on it for some reason.)
These boards have full sized shifts and proper nav clusters, for the record. If I did sell 87 key sets separately, I doubt I would be able to price them much lower to the point where it would make sense for the buyer. Alternatively, I could hold sets until I knew I had someone who was interested in the numpad, and then work that out. We'll see what happens.

Forgot to mention that the seller contacted me on Thursday to clarify the shipping address of the boards, so I expect them to ship on Monday, or at least early this week. I tracked down their location and the shipping estimate UPS gave me was 2 days. However, this week should be pretty work heavy for me, so I don't expect to have a chance to disassemble or ship them until the following Monday. Sorry about that. Maybe Saturday at the earliest, but I can't say with absolute certainty, as I have to take SAT Subject tests on Saturday, and I don't know if I'll have time to breakdown, package and then make it to the post office following those. But hey, a 2 week long turnover isn't bad at all, I figure.

Thanks, Dad!
For the record, they're hopefully the last set of them I have to take. All these dang higher end colleges want a science in addition to my math, so after these, I should be pretty much free for keyboard related exploits. Even more free if I get an acceptance letter from Stanford in the beginning of December.  If that works out, I'll run a celebratory group buy on something people want. Maybe another round of Moogle kits, if I can get the .svg if the time comes.

I doubt I will be able to get black on white ones, though I'll check if there's enough interest, say, 10 or more orders.

Gah... Sorry for being wishy-washy on this. I've been trying to decide between getting this set and the RGBY modifier kit, and  right now I'm seriously leaning toward the modifiers. Take me off the list for now, but I'll probably have the money to pick up a set by the time there are close to 30 orders.

Can you add me on, then. I'm moderately interested in these, but if NumberJ has his money by crunch time, I'd be happy to cede to him.

I'm interested in comparing Thick WYSE, thin WYSE and cherry.

(Speaking of WYSE, today I missed out on TWO wyse keyboards on ebay for $15 total)

Also take-home Thermodynamics of Materials exam > SAT. I'm sure you'll do fine.

You will not need to cede. You're on as #2 for round two at most.

I'm in the process of collecting orders for round 2. The keys will fit on a poker, with the apparent exception of the modifiers, caps lock, and the space bar. I put you down for a set; let me know if this is erroneous. Round 1 has been paid for and will likely be shipping out in the next week.

As for round 1 folk, the keyboards were apparently shipped last week, so they should get to me early this week. I will make every effort to get them out as soon as possible.

Stanford does "Restricted Early Action", which essentially makes it early decision, as you can't apply to any other schools early, and it's still basically binding. Not that that matters anyways. If I get in there, I'm going, no question.

Be nice, guys.

Also, update. Good news and bad news. First, the good news: There are quite a few sets in great condition. I didn't do an exact count, but I would say roughly 10.

Now, the bad news:
One of the sets was damaged in shipping to me. The F1 key snapped off at the stem, taking the stem with it. I don't really know how to deal with this. I know the F-keys are not the most important, but I don't want to put this set in the running and have someone shafted. Instead, I'm going to see if anyone who ordered one can do without it. If you're one of the people who bought two sets and you can take this without trouble, I'll make sure you get a very nice set as your second. I'm also going to email the seller about it and see what they can offer. If it's to ship the board back, I'm not going to bother. Worst comes to worst, I'll just have to refund one of you fellows (looking to be HoboBob, as he was last), and add you to the list for round two, with the promise of a nice set from that run. Just to show you guys what I mean,

Steady hand, hot paperclip with a bend at the end, embed the end in the stem.  Wait for it to cool and pull it.

Or if you have a small enough drill and screws, drill a tiny pilot hole and drive a screw in, then use pliers and pull it.

If you don't want to mess with it, I'll take that as my set (assuming the rest of the keys are decent enough.)  I only ordered one, but I bet I can fix0r it.  I have a pin vise and some small drill bits so I think I can handle it.  Seems as though the doubleshots don't fit that tight on the stems anyway.

I think the set is in pretty good shape otherwise. If not, I'll just switch it out with a nicer one. I tried the paperclip idea, but I couldn't get it hot enough to penetrate the plastic well enough for pulling it out to be successful. As a result, there is now a small dimple in the middle, though that'll probably make drilling it easier. I'm going to check with my Dad to see if he has any tiny drill bits, but if not, I'll send it your way. Thanks!

Wyse buy colors were GSY for the dark grey, GBA for the light grey, and BBI for the fonts.

Q: I was going to volunteer to take it as well. I'm sure I can fix it without drilling or other dangerous approaches. Let me know.

RC, I was kidding about the ignore. Sorry I didn't make it clear. I was playing along with yr "troll". I've got to stop trying to mess around or goof off, I'm honestly very bad at it. So, my apologies.

To get on my ignore list would take epic trolling to the point of a full internet ban :P

I almost put you on mine, if that's any consolation.

On topic: WOW I want one, if there's to be another shipment, I want in.

Did I remember reading that there was supposed to be more of these eventually?

I'm really just a sucker for cheap doubleshots :p Now I need to buy another keyboard to keep up with all the keycaps I'm getting. Maybe a leopold in clears.
