How is the PCB secured to the top piece/plate? is it screwed in or does it depend on the switches to hold the PCB in place?

Also, does the PCB have ESD protection?

Top only have one part(case integrated with plate),PCB have the ESD protection,and need to screw it in top.

    It is likely that the shine through influence is good,just firstly test customized 84 kit in myself, it is official first product to be test by YMDKey.
    I use gold black clear stabilizers in left shift/backspace/ enter,use cherry black stabilizers in 6.25 u spacebar,there will make all stable than before.Will consider add foam in future in this 84 kit,

My YMD75 PCB began failing with less than 2 months of light use, with input being modified as if shift key is stuck. Even after a full reset, PCB is all but useless. Pretty disappointed at the poor quality of the PCB.

I've been using Ymd75 hotswap iso pcb since October 2020 at work and there's no problem at the moment (I'm a developer). I don't use rgb tho. You may have got a defective product?
