IMHO, anime should not be watched on color correct monitors.. It's overall muted..

Whereas the messed up calibrations of factory set tvs look better with the blown out contrast / saturation.

This season only has a few weeks left, I've enjoyed the Junji ito anime despite how low quality it is. Its very faithful to the stories it has told and has done some super niche ones as well as a couple of favourites of mine.

Popteamepic has been pretty much over hypes, I am a fan of bkub and read PTE since the start but its pretty much what I expected the anime to be.

Darling in the Franxx is half done, its ok I suppose but something needs to happen soon because so far its basically just been about cuckolding.

I've taken a look at the spring season and holy hell it is _stacked_

Sequels/Prequels for: SnK, Tokyo Ghoul, Steins Gate, BnHA, Food Wars.

Gems like: Hinamatsuri, Golden Kamuy, Major 2nd, Megalo Box.

Also, a Captain Tsubasa remake ?? + a new Inazuma Eleven season.

And those are only the ones that I'm expecting, there're probably many pleasant surprises as well.

's pretty generic as far as story arcs go.

But, I'd say the presentation and pacing is very well done..

Been rewatching the entirety of DBZ over the last month or so. It's both worse and better than I remember it from like 15 years ago. The show is so obviously silly, I don't know why I ever took it so seriously as a kid.

idk... this episode doesn't pack much steam...

Megalo box has a very nice buildup..

Hero Academia seems to be holding back.. but you can tell their animation budget is up.. so at least that's good.

It was more like one of those .5 recap episodes.
Reminds me of the children's shows where they think the viewers need reminders because they think the viewers have low attention spans or haven't followed the series through.

BnHA progressively gets darker, this episode is just general shounen **** that is plugged into popular shows
BnHA gets bout 50% as dark as bule exorcist if you read the manga so far, and the seriousness actually gets somewhere
IMO, bnha is a decent show, kind of like ratman but newer and a bit better you gotta plow thru the boring bits sometimes
But I'm a hardcore seinen fan, so I'm biased

I discovered by accident today that Steins;Gate 0 is a thing, so I immediately downloaded the first 9 episodes since the original is one of my top three favorite anime ever. Hopefully 0 lives up to the original's legacy.

0 has lived up to my expectations so far! The concept is really neat and they did a good job with the emotions, in my opinion. I'm really excited to see where it goes from here, and I feel pretty positive that it will be close to the quality of the original.

Speaking of Boku no Hero Acadmia, I have only read the manga thus far, but I may have to pick up the anime just for the next two episodes. From the preview that was released earlier today, it seems like they will be absolutely incredible!
