At work I mentioned that I was going, and a couple of the guys asked who would be there. I realized that there was pretty much nobody in the whole lineup that they had even heard of, except perhaps Medeski, Martin, and Wood. The festival pretty much revolves around jazz, modern classical, and avant-garde music, although there are always "folk-esque" people there like Rhiannon Giddens, Bela Fleck and Abigail Washburn. In years past there was a good deal more rock but that is fading away.

To be honest, I would have only recognized Anoushka Shankar, because of her father. Very cool though and the venue is a big part of the experience. Sounds like it was awesome

I've also spent most of the morning listening to Hindustani Classical thanks to you

Its been a while since I listened to any type of electronic music with regularity but I've recently found house/D&B helps to keep me focused and productive at work. I was reunited with "Assault" today as well. For a while, I had thought it was "Ammo" for some reason...
