Mmmm they look nice... Without the space you would need for a real IBM. I wonder though of what the logic is with the numpad so close to the rest.

I'm guessing to save space.

the real question is what is the logic of having it so far away normally?

The Model F is the first RS that really interests me. Id buy that in a heartbeat.

That's quite a good question actually. I guess I'm just used to the "regular" look with the space between numpad and arrow keys.

Actually makes more sense on the IBM because travel is less to numpad.

All the Redscarf 68s I see on taobao don't have the alu case with acrylic bottom, but either solid acrylic or solid alu.  Is this a different version or something?

im pretty sure there are rs68s with acyl bottoms, i think in chinese it's called a milk bottom or something like that

there's a red scarf II which definitely has those options but for the 68 i think you'll have to directly contact the seller

Yeah theres different versions, the first version of the RS68 had the aluminum top bezel with acrylic bottom with the option of buying a full aluminum bottom for it.  The new RS68's are only one piece low profile aluminum or acrylic kinda like most Poker cases.

How much were the agent fees?

10% (with paypal fee) of (the item cost + Domestic shipping). These guys worked for it too, very responsive.

So how much did it end up costing? I'm interested in getting a RS68 but it depends on the cost.

USD $124.14 for the keyboard kit
USD $45.38 for shipping and their fee (to australia)

Unfortunately where I purchased from, see a few posts above for the link, is no longer in stock.

 Hi,

I have a problem with my RS68 II+ rev C.
Both red keys on this ISO layout do the same thing when I press them:
http://www.keyboard-layout-editor.com/#/gists/462f442185cbc90095344fe50ecc9261
i.e. the right one behaves like the left one although the layout as shown here is different.

Can anyone help?

I just checked, and my left ISO key is labeled "iso |".

Are the silver and black versions called "Red" too? Why? Is it a kind of artsy-craftsy thing?
