I enjoyed the build log process so I'm going to be doing another one for this board but what happens afterwards is up in the air.

I enjoyed the build log process so I'm going to be doing another one for this board but what happens afterwards is up in the air.

I will be providing the 0805 SMD type of resistor and LL4148 cylindrical type of smd diode. Personally, I would prefer the LL4148 be cause I only need to take for the polarity and not the orientation as well.

- ISO compatible plate

I have got a new supplier for plate. The quality seems much better than the previous batch. The anodizing is definitely better.

I have made some sample with the transparent and semi-transparent Plexiglass acrylic. The semi-trans one does work better with the light diffusing. The only problem is that the light is not that bright on the bottom side (spacebar area), because the case is not specially design to this purpose.

I see, so this adds an extra few mm to the height of the board, and you need longer screws.

And just my 2cents about the problem with the brightness at the bottom side, have you tried a full side plate diffuser instead of just the border? I got the full side diffuser on LZ-CP and the light diffusing is perfect.

The structure of the board doesn't allow a full size plate diffuser. Hmmm.

I love the TGR CE and all the work done to make it happen. Unfortunately the Skidata project is costing me quite a bit of money, and I've had to allocate funds to it, and have passed my order on to a friend.

That said, I still look forward to seeing it in person, and want to thank Yuktsi for organizing this.

Yea I changed my order to have some soldering done, so I knew I had an invoice coming but I just didn't think about the diffuser so I just paid for it.
