Just want to say cable can be separated into 2 parts like this

(Attachment Link)

You can put it into pcb after assembly and put the cases together the link the longer part of the cable.

(Attachment Link)

I am not good at explaining this kind of thing, but i think you guys can get the idea.

btw, pc plate is very soft,is that right?

(Attachment Link)

Hi Revo, this tenkeyless in your photos has a case that doesn't look like Dr. D. Could you confirm either way? Thanks!

Not sure if its the same thing I experienced but what i found out is the connector for the cable  on the PCB (the soldered part) gets in contact with the case. It happened 3X, I disassemble it and it works then it dies down; thought it was the PCB but then placed a little tape on the square hole to avoid contact and so far never saw the issue again.

Thanks for the heads up on that. I think mine had to do with ps2 drivers on my pc which fixed with a windows update!

typing on it now!

Thanks Guys!

The hydro is the finality of this build so the Blue and silver is really the focus.

Thats only half the build tho for the revo.

I got a second PCB and a poly carb plate.
Gonna do lubed silent blacks on the polycarb with POM for a different feel.
The bottom row might be a little weird, but its gonna be worth it to have a really soft linear board.

Try to link it with usb instead of ps2.And there are 2 mode. You should press u (don't let go) link your computer with usb port,or press p(don't let go) link your computer with ps2 port. When you using ps2,you should restart your computer. Try to programme it using usb mode. Let me know if it's still not working.

Can you show me a photo of your taped bottom case. We use xh2.54 and it's all platisc. This never happen when i assemble mine. There shouldn't be any short. And anode alu is insulated. I am a little bit confused.

Well I definitely cant recommend pressing U to any one having this issue because now my keyboard has no firmware on it.

So now, not only can I not program it, I cant type on it.

Did you using the USB adaptor? If you are using it,press Q(don't let go) and then link your computer. You should be able to use bootmapper. At this point nothing can be more wrong. Or you can add my shype (raymondyy),let me see what i can do.

Oh didn't know that. Then it might be another reason then. The thing is when it started not functioning back then all I need to is pull the plug disassemble plug it back without the case then it started working again. No PC restart or anything. So I thought it might be something to do with my noob soldering skills or something else.

Anyway I attached a pic of which I assume might be in contact (the 4 solder thingy), the tape would be on the case side. Can take a pic tom if you need one.

holding down Tab seems to have put it into bootloader, as each keypress registers as follows

.3,1.
.3,2.
.3,3.
.3,4.
.4,1.
.4,2.
.4,3.

Thats me typing out asdfzxc

Pressing keys will now select different cells in Bootmapper

I still cannot use the download or upload buttons in Bootmapper, nor can I flash a hex file via "options"

No rush, as long as the board has some firmware I'm cool, just wanted to get it programmed is all.  I'm happy to provide more info and screenshots if it helps troubleshooting.

Download it from the WKL website. Whenever I've had a hiccup with my PCB a reflash with the newest firmware did the trick.

If you haven't found it by tonight I will look.

If you are referring to the latest version of Bootmapper I can check but Im almost certain I have it.

And I assume the firmware on the pcb is outdated in my situation since the bootloader button is tab as seen on past 32a bootmapper boards.
The problem with that is, whether or not the actual firmware is outdated, I still cant seem to reflash it with the newer one which has to be done in BTMppr.

It's totally alright man. Again love the board and waiting to see if I'll like it more with an orange mid. But looking at Moistgun pics, looks like I will.  ;D

Have you had any luck programming your keyboard?

Mine was fine. Never had issue with the bootmapper.

Want to offer my version of a guide for programming one of these boards.
I know the info is out there, but I dont care.

Here you go.

From all the variations I tried, the only way I was able to program the board was using the ps2 to usb converter that revo provided.

With this adapter, I had to use a USB 2.0 port, as 3.0 wouldn't work.

When I did that, windows 10 decided to finally install Ps2avrGBU on my computer.

that is when I was able to use the bootmapper client from WKL.

When you open the client, you will click download, then change that layout as you desire, toggle bootmapper, then upload.

In that order with those specifics.

After doing this, the keyboard had my custom keymap when using the ps2 adapter to usb 2.0 and 3.0.

However, I was not able to then restart my computer with PS2 and use the keyboard.
Instead I needed to reboot holding tab, and then my keymap worked through ps2

a little update here. My RGB 80 PCB is on the way to me now. It's a87 size so it can be use on Dr.D. Anyone in the Dr.D GB can get 10usd discount in the rgb pcb GB in the future.

I want one! Does it use SMD LEDs?

I guess I have to wait to build my board until the RGB PCB GB.
