« on: Sat, 08 April 2017, 15:27:12 »

I see varying opinions on the best way to orient hungrkeys on a keyboard, so I wanted to see what you guys think is mo' better   ^-^

I want to add more pics if I can find some.
Let me know your thoughts!

Eyes to the back. It's a Hungrkey not a Stare-at-you-Key.
Some guys keep on saying they believe in Jesus, and keep doing a lot of shameful things.

Eyes to the back for sure, front loses too much detail + Hungr feels great to press eyes to the back (Hungr eating your finger).

The best angle for photographing Hungr is still a mystery to me and I don't think anyone has perfected it yet, there might be too much detail to get it all in one picture.

nubb's Hungr photo did a pretty good job of showing most of the detail but he didn't have a skeleton to worry about showing off.

:)) Actually a pretty good point

The default orientation seems to be eyes to the back, but it seems to lose some of the sculpt when you're at your board. Pressing it on the tongue, however, is great.

I haven't tried rotating mine to have the eyes face me, but I will try as I like seeing the eyes more.

Hmm... In order for me to truly get to the bottom of this I'm going to need you to send me one...

Slide in my DMs for the address. But please make it snappy for I am a busy man.
I generally hate all keycaps. Keycaps are for poofs. Real men touchtype on stems. Non-functional artisans are awesome, I use them for the ESC key ... escape is for cowards anyways, real men go frontal assault.

But when you flip the Hungr on anything other than a TKL or larger the eyes are hidden by the next row, even on a TKL they're partially obscured.

Yeah eyes on top just feels a bit better for me too. So much nicer to press and you get to see all the details in the mouth much easier.

New idea, 2 Hungrs, one with the eyes at the top that you press and one with the eyes down that you just look at.

This is such a difficult issue. Good thing only a small proportion of individuals will ever come across this dilemma. It's like a rare reverse cancer that more people wish they could catch.
