Hi,

I have a question, why is this keyboard so expensive? Even the ps/2 ones...Tried one and it feels kinda light..like a toy keyboard :P

Because the target market isn't consumers and you can probably find it much cheaper elsewhere.

Get a Cherry G86. I love mine, and it feels solid

very different keyboards. G84 is low-profile (2mm travel) mechanical (ML ) switches, G86 is normal profile (4mm) rubber dome switches (except the G86 ricercar spos, which has MX switches. Somewhat uncommon though). Personally, I like the G84 and have one with dyesubs that I use sometimes. The only bad part is 2KRO. Mine is only a 4100 so no trackball.

Anyway the lack of a metal plate, and low-profile switches and keycaps makes it weigh almost nothing. Good for laptops, which is why some manufatures switched to ML from M87 or whatever before going to scissor.

Interesting, I didn't know there were short travel mechanical switches

I have an ML based Cherry that I got for a steal and while I didn't think I would like it, my hands do typing almost as effortlessly and as fast as they do on the modlel M.  Definitely one of those 'try and see whatcha think' switches.  :thumb:

BTW, the keys are a little bit smaller than standard.
