Awesome pricing, I think I'll probably have to get in on this. What is the most recent JTK GB? How are they progressing on fixing up their legends?

I think Aqua by zFrontier was the most recent to start?

row nums pls

112344 in descending order top part

12344 for the bottom part
I always see cherry profile caps numbered like this and it leaves me scratching my head. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it actually BBCDEE from the bottom?

update on the accent keys: JTK says it's doable, but we'd have to get more than just those two keys since there are other legends in the mold. I asked about what other keys it would be. It would add what translates into $10 for the set, which might be a little too rich for my blood. I'll update again once they confirm what keys will be in the set.

Also, I confirmed pantones with them: The yellow will be 108C, and the grey will be 418C. The grey was a little hard to gauge, but I think that's about as close as I can get with pantones. If anyone has a pantone book and a dolch set, let me know.

I don't have exactly what you're looking for, but I do have a Sky Dolch and a Skidolcha set, and a ColorMunki Design spectrophotometer which can do color sampling.

Accent kit is a no go, the list of keys it would have to include doesn't make sense, and I think it would add too much costwise.

If I did it, it would have to be separate from the base set, which I don't really want to do.

that's also gonna be a no-go, i don't want to add costs for the legends

it would be about $5 a set, which puts us just a bit too close to $100 at base MOQ

if it sells over 200, i will do generic super keys (diamonds), though, since then i'll feel less weird about the price

Cool, understood. I am  definitely interested either way.

Just want to say that I appreciate the way you are running this IC. Thanks for being so transparent.

Or GX, if we reference SP codes. I think black would look good though

they're not, but it's easier on the backend to just use black in this case

but i was incorrect in saying that dolch is fully black normally, yes

Hmm decisions, decisions... I really like Red Riot also, ideally I'd like to grab a set of both but we all know how well this hobby mixes with financial responsibilities, LOL! :)) If comes down to it I think I'll go Yolch over Red riot. Although since they are both looking to be JTK sets there is at least the possibility of me being able to cover both sets if they are run close together which is nice. Anyways great work on both & I look forward to definitely adding at least one of them to my collection! :thumb:

I measure N9 (dark gray) as 63,65,67 which translates to Pantone 446C.
I measure CC (light gray) as 106,102,96 which translates (IMO) to Pantone 404C or 405C. It's not as close a match as N9 was. Given that this is supposed to be the "lighter" color, I'd suggest 404C.

These were both sampled off spacebars, so there shouldn't be any color contamination from the legend shot.

JTK only takes pantone numbers, since I don't have a physical sample to send them.

My spectrometer generates RGB which can be converted to Pantone.

hit me with that alpha color please

the legend color was easy, i just eydropper'd an SP color chip, but i was having trouble with the alpha color

the mod color will just be black, since that's what it is normally

I'll sample them tonight.

Thanks, I'll relay this info to JTK. I'll confirm colors before final payment, and they're gonna send me samples before production.

One of my professors has a pantone book, so I'll go tomorrow and take a look.

If I could offer a suggestion on the yellow: Process Yellow C or 102C.

i opted for 108c, since i think it'll look better against the grey, but i will investigate 102c as well

i have some SP colorchips that i've been using to check color as well

The dark gray looks good. The light gray has a weird brown tone that doesn't look right to me.

Looking at Pantones online I see that the web site I used must not have been color true. Maybe Cool Gray 6 or 7 C?

Any thoughts on a black on yellow Enter and Esc?

Adds too much cost to the set because of how JTK does their molding. Weird batch thing. I've decided not to do it this time around.

I can understand that, with my little knowledge of how these are cast.

There is always:

Which would probably be similar enough for anyone wanting one.
