There is no reason to go under 32. Even 43 is OK at 2 feet.

Hard disagree.
I like 25-26in for my desk size.

You probably like them gigantic 7in phones too.

Llann probably doesn't do alot of specific Monitor-wurk.

27" even 3 of them, all day, squint to see, no bueno.

You might get away with 27" for browsing, big application UIs, but the non-consumer facing applications, 27" kill your eyes.  :D

Then there's g4m3r side of things, 27" is ok if you've got big looking targets in an FPS,  but if you got RTS or Top down RPG like Hades2, your dudes are quite small, not unplayable, but there's a comfort issue here.

Tp4 does not play any mobile games on mobile. None installed. Tp4 only plays HonorOfKings via desktop emulator.

I've done programming, web development, graphics design and cad on 25 and 26in screens. Doesn't bother me.
Your eyes, and how you place them matters.

I also feel like it's a bit of luck of the draw with eye health. People's eyes age differently regardless of screen habits.

nescio:
27" QHD@60Hz works fine for me for non-gaming use, since your eyes can only see so many pixels without moving.

Perhaps a projector would be a nice "screen" for a 3m x 3m wall, but I am not sure whether a wall of light in the dark would be so great either.

I think it's amazing that such QHD monitors are that cheap today.

I think VR is also a good way for a larger "screen". Particularly, when it will be combined with brain wave analysis. So, when you for example think of "htop", that it will transport you to the virtual coordinates showing a screen with htop information. I think that's possible to implement that today. I will leave the implementation to someone that's more enthusiastic about it, though.
