X's and O's could be placed different and colors changed. Just a thought. The"edge" around the top of the cap (the thin black line that actually isn't there) actually makes it look a little worse, I think.

whiskerBox's post at the end of page 2 made me think it would be cool to replace the standard alpha keys with signlanguage symbols of the corresponding letters.

I'm more interested in the little bumps you get on the home keys (F and J). I have an A4 Tech KBS-720 which has really findable nubs on those keys. (or maybe I'm in the wrong thread for that?)

Not a design, but an idea: Transparent Key Caps with dyesub / Infill that is UV Active, with UV-LEDs... should look pretty sweet, i'd imagine... and since there are different colors, a RGBY Kit would be doable :D

We have tried to do doubleshots with clear, but SP will not do it.  Also tried with glow in the dark...blanks only.

"Clear" PBT is a rather neutral colour, if I recall correctly, and in theory you could Dyesub UV reactive ink into it.

Also, with enough interest, anything is possible with Chinese Manufacturing. SP is not the only option.

Well, whatever, here's Helvetica. The idea is just to do a set of random sayings and words people like to match SP sets. I did this in white on dark gray because I have R3 and that's what I'd want.

So we can play scrabble with our keycaps instead of scrabble bits parts?

The board would a matrix of black switches and the score bonuses are shown using different colored switches?

Haha. That would actually be cool although resetting the game would be a pain.

I posted this suggestion in its own thread the other day, but I'll repeat it here. I would love a keycap with the Ducky logo on it that is compatable with the Shine keyboards. I don't merely want a Ducky Logo keycap, I know those are available. I want a Ducky logo keycap that will allow the LED to shine through. I would use it as my esc key, I think. God, I love the Ducky logo.

If the keycaps were created, I would imagine them being sold in sets of 1. the whole alphabet+blank 2. 100 keycaps with multiplers and blank (normal scrabble)

I guessed that, since there are none to be found and if there was an option like this, it would have been done before.

I wonder though, making the second shot would be fairly easy with say, polyester resin. It is readily available and can be colored from completely translucent to smoky in different colors to a solid color. Could a GB be arranged where we bought caps from SP where only the first shot has been made, so that we can just cover the top, put it upside down and pour in glue or resin to make it a double shot with translucent legend?

There was a group buy for a failed design which had wrong colors. I think it was a creeper-face with green on white instead of black on green. There were a couple of other keys as well.

Like the idea - but that is a lot of detail to shrink down to a key even for a dyesub

Has anyone ever seen a tree cap before?  I've never really looked into custom keycaps before, but I was thinking about how cool it would be to have a white tree on this color green: http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=34459.0.  Obviously that's very specific, but if anyone has ever seen a tree cap before, I'd love it if you could let me know!

Haha no I mean the woody kind of tree, something like this: http://www.arthursclipart.org/silhouettes/plants/tree02.gif.

EDIT: I'm thinking I'll just custom design it at wasdkeyboards.com, I was just wondering if anyone had seen one before and what they had thought of it.
