Title: Logitech Marble FX on Windows 7?
Post by: dmac on Mon, 11 December 2017, 18:57:52
Is it possible to run the Logitech Marble FX on Windows 7?
Logitech doesn't have drivers for the Marble FX on Windows 7, but I am hoping there is a driver somewhere out there for Windows 7.
Does anyone know if this is possible, and if it is, where I could obtain the driver?
Thanks guys!

It should function like a normal mouse without any drivers needed, there may not have ever been any for Win7 for that reason.
It's not like it has a bunch of buttons or tuneable tracking.

I tried it on a windows 7 machine with a PS/2 to USB converter and a PS/2 to USB adapter with no luck.
I then tried it on a different windows 7 machine with a native PS/2 port. Nothing.
I turned the computer off, then came back to it today, and the mouse was plugged in the PS/2. And guess what it works, Just needed to reboot with the hardware connected. fml lol
Thanks guys!

Yes, ps2 requires a restart to activate, not sure why the ps2 to usb didn't work though.
Glad you got it working.

Logitech SetPoint to get a driver that supports all the buttons on PS2.

XMouse to set the functiin you want for each button.

I use a a Trackman FX myself.
