Damn, more stuff to buy. Thanks a lot, Ed... Do you move them around like normal chess pieces? Do they get hot?

Don't forget to get a clock as well -> http://www.ramosclock.com/

Yes, you play like normal. Nixie tubes shouldn't get too hot unless you're doing something wrong.

Remember that it's $350 for the nixie ramos, and they're backordered at the moment.

Recently came across a Focus FK2001 with what appears to be white alps. I'm not planning on selling it, but how much could I get for it if I did decide to? What about just the keycaps? They're all doubleshots with the exception of both windows keys, the key that functions as right click, and tab, for whatever reason.

Sorry about the rotated image, I probably should've used imgur instead of photobucket.

NIB Focus 2001, with the clear plastic dust cover yours is missing, have been going for about $50 shipped or less. That one seems to be well used. ALPS keycap sets don't sell for much if at all here. Sorry. :(

Rather than as an investment, you should use that board to type on. White clicky ALPS are fun to use. There's a reason why those Focus boards were popular back in the late 80's/early 90's.

Yeah, it does feel quite nice, sort of like heavier blues.

Thanks for the info.

What is this worth: Red Alert complete set from an earlier group buy a long time ago. Brand new.

Don't even remember how much I paid for the complete set but it has the white, grey, and red modifiers.

If you are talking about Red Alert 2.0 they were about $55 in the group buy but normally I see them selling for $65-75 in the classifieds.

I'm not sure what version they are.. probably from the very first group buy so don't think it's 2.0?

Sounds like a Rebel Red Alert set. Does it have the contrasting white on red number row with Isotherm font? OTD "hand" keycaps? How many keycaps are there, in total? Around 170? Can you post a picture?

A full Rebel Red Alert set, with all the colorway options and experimental keys can fetch a healthy sum. I paid something like $210 for mine.

I don't know how many key caps there are, theres way too many of them. I have all the key caps you listed: OTD hand logo, white on red number and function, white on beige/grey/red modifiers..center and off center capslock, short iso right shift I think and more.

Yeah. If you lay them all out and take pictures of them so people will know what they are, you'll get a good amount of $$$ for them. I would say $200 easily.

Thinking about selling my Model M. The market seems to fluctuate quite a bit on these. My particular board is in impeccable condition, no yellowing or anything like that. It is a 1391401 with a PS/2 cable. Mf'd 10SEP87. As I said, this board is really clean. Wondering what the going rate is for boards in good condition.

I think thats a valid point. If anything turns up for sale, I'm sure I'd consider if its included upon a greater/larger set.

I'm starting to sell things before getting them..I think this is bad...
