Title: Acrylic case and plate for TKL
Post by: TheCultOfKaos on Sat, 14 February 2015, 10:41:30
Im hoping to laser cut a case and plate out of acrylic for a TKL. Are there any open source designs out there that anyone would recommend? Im hoping to avoid having to buy too many 12x24 sheets of acrylic (vs 12x12 sheets). I'd prob need one sheet for the plate and the bottom so that they're one piece, the rest I'd love to split and laminate in sections.

From there I'd hand wire and use something like a teensy.

Any pointers?

This is for a phantom, but it's a good place to start. You can also check the CAD resources hub thread there's some great stuff there. I designed my acrylic keypad from scratch using what I found there.
