This. Removing the numpad saves a few bucks on the base sure (typically less than $10), but then causes the need for a 35$ child kit. I find this weighting to be favoring a large punishment to those needing it in favor of a small gain for those who don’t, and the numbers don’t clearly show favor in either direction.

The two R4 1.75u blank keycaps in the Abnormalities Kit are convex, right? I wanted to make sure because they are not marked convex in the kit picture, but GMK does have 1.75u convex tooling.

That's a great catch, and an oversight on my end! Kits are being finalized but I'll talk with them and see about getting those updated to the newer tooling.

Personal preference maybe and probably too late, but it might look more natural with sublegends on the numpad too so it doesn't feel as empty. Either way, great looking set!

I appreciate your feedback! I considered this when working on it but ultimately designed them this way to match with the simplicity of the icon modifiers, so that the set overall has some breathing room and doesn't become overly complex visually. Kits have been finalized, so barring anything egregious, this is what you'll see next week.

DESKMAT UPDATE

In working on the deskmat samples, the cream and orange deskmat has such a high failure rate due to the lighter color that we don't feel comfortable releasing it as an option. Unfortunately, we will only be proceeding with the green variant.

There weren’t enough made to sell, as this was just to get samples over to us. the bad ones were likely trashed. Apparently the problem exists with all white (or close to white) deskmats so I wouldn’t be surprised to see a big scale back on those designs.

No price drops. We typically order extras these days, which means all kits get made. We may cancel a kit if it severely under-performs such that buying extras doesn't really make sense for us. In such a case, you will always have the options to keep the remainder of your order or to cancel it entirely for a full refund.

Yes, it will be L9! The color shift is a bit of a by-product of different renderings. Especially given that GMK L9 doesn't come from any standard color libraries.

It looks like the photos of it got blasted with lots of light. Deskmats have a bit of a sheen so my guess is the light shifted the color a bit. I'll investigate on this and see what happened!

There were only a couple of those ones actually made, just for sample purposes. None of the large manufacturing had begun, so there wont be any of that color produced for sale. Sorry mate.
