were the sale prices always so high for these dudes?
his caps used to be dirt cheap compared to everyone else. like $30 shipped for 2 mummies. fairly sure he was losing money back then.
i'd rather the makers charge more for their work, since people are going to resell their **** for $$$ anyways.
I'm all for the makers getting their nut but expecting resellers is a piss poor excuse
Not expecting flippers is like trying to take the pulse of a hotdog
They're entitled to what they deem fair for their work and hey its ****ty that prices have gone up, but they'll continue to do so because people will continue paying their price its just business.
Flipping will still continue.
The only way flipping will stop is if:
1) deep pockets do not backdoor the DMs of people who just want to appreciate a cap with four-figure offers for a 1-inch square piece of plastic.
2) the exchanging parties sign some form of contractual agreement not to disclose the exchange price. because otherwise who wouldnt brag to their keyboard friends about selling a Jack-o-lantern or equivalently clouty keycap for over a G?!
Saying this from both sides of the fence.
huh wut? oh right, back to the show.
