Hi there, new comer to mechanical keyboard
« on: Sat, 05 July 2014, 18:29:27 »
Hello everyone.

I recently got myself a CM QuickFire Rapid keyboard with brown switches. It's amazing!

I've done a lot of searching before buying it because I've never owned a mechanical keyboard before and a keyboard close to $100 seemed too high (I got mine during a clearance so it's less than that). But I sort of understand why now... the quality is un-paralleled.

This keyboard is now in my office but I'm considering getting another one (there goes the money...). This time I want an even smaller one (60%). And I'm down to KBT Poker 1, KBT Pure, KBP V60. I have a few criteria in picking:

-the "arrow keys" must be available at the right bottom corner, ok to be a Fn combo
-the USB cable must be detachable
-cannot be more than $120
-the case must just be a tray housing the board, no extra arm-rest, nor thick margin on any side
-backlight is optional
-can ship it to Canada

I've also read about GH60 and it's super good... just I missed the group buy and it's too expensive for me.

As a newbie I might have missed a few options, so I'd be grateful to hear about them.

Happy typing! Thanks!
