I just made a quick album of my unboxing experience, sadly a few pictures of the TXPad ended up being lost.

http://imgur.com/a/IcGsy

I already built the board with 67g R4 Zealios and made the TXPad hotswappable, currently it uses Cherry Blacks with 72g springs. I put my GMK Skeletor set on it to make it the most obnoxious board I own, AND I LOVE IT. I'll probably try getting my hands on a set of Troubled Minds SA, I hope I find one for an acceptable price that isn't gone in less than 2 minutes :(
Now back to the board, I know everyone already said it often enough, but IT IS A TANK, I'm not even remotely kidding. I thought my Duck Black Bird is a heavy keyboard, but this... is just insane.
The packaging was insanely professional (like you can see in the album) and I loved the small touches that made this feel so personal, like the dyesub caps and the switch films, the keyboard pads or just the extra diodes and resistors, I wished everyone did it like this, that would be awesome.
There is only one thing I didn't really like about this, and that is that the PCB has slightly higher inputlag compared to the 32u2/32u4 based ones I own. It's nowhere near as ridiculous as my VE.A, which is probably at least 30-40ms late. It's more in the range of 10ms, which really does not affect anyone that isn't playing rhythm games and used to the lower latency of 32u2/32u4 based boards. Sadly I fall into this category, so I have to switch boards before playing. It's not a big deal, because the board is awesome in every other way, maybe one day Leeku will release a fix for this and even if he doesn't this is still an awesome board.

Thank you so much Kin25 for giving me the opportunity to buy one of these. You can really see how much work went into these other than just design.

Finally.. You received kbds.
Thanks for many pictures and mentions.

When I made tx87/84 and txpad.
I prepared them for long time.
There were some ideas.
Packing, mat, label and keycap.
For a week, every night I and my wife seperated bolts. :)
(Sometimes my wife did it in her school.)
Mat and keycap were cheap and small gifts.
I just wanted to give something useful to buyers.

But.. When I made txcp and tx75.
I was busy and had no time to make a gift.
I am sorry about it.

Next time.. I will send a gift again. :)
(Gift project started already)

Came back home from vacation Friday night, had the order shipped to my office last week, so I slipped in today to pick it up because I could not wait for tomorrow!

Thanks, kin25, for your excellent communication, service, and packing, so I could enjoy a wonderful Kinmas today!

Wow thanks for your pics and mentions. :)

Thank you for your wonderful work on these! I'll be sure to put up pictures again once I build them.

Haha thanks dude I sure will. Could do some serious damage with this, should definitely feature if they make a 21st Century version of Cluedo (apparently referred to as Clue in the US). I swear we have very similar tastes as I see your name in all the posts I browse here and on reddit. Either that or you just post a lot I guess haha.

Hello Kin25,

thought I just ask:
Any plans for a TX96?

Absolutly in love with the quality and look of your Keyboards,
but currently just looking for a Board with the 96-Layout (For example the ZZ96 https://i.imgur.com/o2LCH2v.jpg)

Kind regards,

I know :)
The difference between the 1800 (TX-CP) and 96 layout is pretty small,
but too reach my personal "endgame" I really would love a dedicated 96.

Agree 96 is smaller than cp.
(Leeku, Lz and I) we like partition more.
Without partition, we often make mis-typing.
So we made partition as CP.

I agree, the CP layout adds more structure to the keyboard.

The 96-layout heavily relies on a nice keycap color scheme to add appeal to the very block-y aesthetics of the keyboard.

Just buy TX keyboards, Kin25 makes all the important decisions for you  :D

Hello~

I want to sell tx84 and txpad GREEN SET.

I sold these set to an american.
He received them.
But he was not satisfied with them.
so he wanted to restock and refund.
He wanted to pay all cost of restock, but I think it is not fair.
I think his fault is not much as the cost.

If someone who live in America buy these set, we would not need to spend shipping cost.
The buyer can receive quickly, don't need to worry about custom problem.
The seller and I can save money as well.
It is good for all of us.

the reason of his claim is not a big problem of tx84.
it is a bolt hole scratch.
it is made by wire hook of anodizing factory.
all custom kbd have these scratches.

Look at the red arrow mark.

** The package List **
(1) TX84 green case, alu plate, ss plate, 2 pcb.
(2) TXpad green case, alu plate, ss plate, 2 pcb.

** The price **
He paid $697.58(included shipping + paypal fee)
so.. the price of this package is same..
 $697.58
I will pay US domestic shipping cost.

** Deal process **
(1) Plz reply under this post. if you want to buy these set.
( at first reply, and plz contact to me by telegram @kin25 )
(2) I will talk with the first reply person. Unless... the second, the third...
(3) I will received money from the buyer.
(4) I will let the seller send these set.
(5) When the buyer receive them and agree...
(6) I will send money to the seller.

I think this is safe method.

Thanks. I'd asked Kin (way too late) about it a while back, and of course it was gone. Then I was just catching up on this thread, saw the post, and thought "wow, someone got lucky".

And then realized Kin had posted that at what must have been about the same time I loaded the thread...

Camping never even occurred to me. The earlier pics of Skeletor-on-green really screamed spoke to me, and I was considering looking for Modern Selectric for that black on black subtle look that a distinguished zombie-green demands.

The alphas are "OG" Cherry doubleshots, from either a Point Of Sale G80 or G81 board (not sure, because I have sourced WoB keys from both kinds of boards over the years).

I've just got my last TX board from Kin25. All his boards are very sturdy with superior quality. The packaging - as everyone else said -  is extremely well designed, thanks to his wife. Your board will surely have no damage during shipment with that packaging. He also answered all my scattered questions, with a ton of photos and helpful information. Thank you very much Kin25.

Sadly I can't get a TX-75 brass weight because they were all sold out :(.

Just gotta say that this was by far the smoothest process I've ever been a part of, not to say I've been involved in a lot but enough to know a bit. Dealing with Kin25 was a BREEZE and the packaging was incredible! The board is absolutely amazing; soooo heavy, such a perfect fit overall. Will definitely join the next buy and encourage others to deal with Kin25 and Yuktsi! Thanks again!!

I almost had to! I thought I ran out of cherry stabs, but I had some hiding in another drawer. I may do it though but its more buttons than I need already lol.

Is there a way to set a switch under FN to toggle the switch LEDs using Jigon?

Hi Kin, Hi YukTsi and all the TX users,

I've been lurking this design for a while, as I've been thinking about a 75% end-game board, and this board ranks real high for me.

I have a few questions about the TX boards:

1. Does the PCB currently support Alps switches?

2. What is the pin hole sizes for the PCB of TX-75, are they at 1.5mm similar to Leeku TXPad? I'm looking at the hotswap-compatibility of the PCB to some holtite receptacles.
https://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/comments/5amslt/guidehotswap_compatibility_table/dc45z0n/

3. How does the typing experience of Plate-to-case mount design (e.g. in TX-75) compare to the more usual PCB-to-case mount design?
I'm not talking about the switch mounting but whether the major stable connection to the case is to the plate itself or to the PCB. I am also aware of that, unlike the usual PCB-to-case mount design, there is no extra standoffs to support the PCB in the middle of the bottom half part of the case.

More

Thanks in advance.
