Some of you may have seen the frameable version of the board at the Austin meetup a few weeks ago, I've now updated the design with FTIR LEDs under the spacebar so the engraving can be lit!

Main differnces between V2 and the original design by jonathan(uuupah) dropped the backlighting, added RGB LED connections under the spacebar for front and rear lighting, and moved the pro micro connection under the keys!

The Group Buy will be for a PCB, a board kit, or a frameable kit.

PCB is $9

Kits include a case (with any necessary hardware), PCB and all the electronics (diodes, pro micro, RGB LEDs) and 6.25u stabilizer

Board kit is $35 for the basic case and $55 with the premium case, seperate cases are also available

Basic case is plate and bottom

premium case is a fully enclosed 5 layer acrylic sandwich case

Frameable kit is $45 for the basic and $55, add $15 for engraving with either kit, seperate cases are also available

Basic is just the 8x10 (or A4 for metric peeps) plate and spacer layers

Premium includes a full rear enclosure

Pro Micros will come preloaded with the following config (no programming necessary to get started!)

Just FYI, the Alpha 28 boards coming with the addop option will be the new v1.2 which has the option for SMD diodes and an independent reset switch!

Thanks for the update! Gonna approach this as a serious keyboard. I think it's doable, I'm OK with a Gherkin so… this leap is just a flesh wound.
