I had this discussion with sprit yesterday, and he said the lower case LEDs are just soldered onto the regular switch LED legs below. You have the option to bend the side LEDs 45-60° to position the angle properly for proper lighting.

Is this soldering onto existing top side LEDs, because this causes the top LEDs to be dimmer.

Lime green wasn't produced since they use the same 8mm acrylic boards as the top layer. Only colours that passed MOQ are available.

I've asked sprit regarding the shape, and the corner of the triangle should hover ontop of your desk as long as the two bump-ons are positioned properly in the back.

8mm. Same height as the original triangle feets that will be included.

It won't, as long as you place bump-ons in the back two corners.

LEDs are hooked up in parallel, and sprit has told me that the sprit PCB's controller is able to provide enough current without any noticeable dimming. He also told me Poker IIs should not have a problem either, due to small 60% size. Now if this was an 80% or 100% board, then you may start noticing some dimming.

Also update on shipping progress: Shipment has been picked up, but it seems like expected delivery would be tomorrow. I'll update you guys once I get it and work on packing ASAP.

Still packing. Packing individual orders takes a lot more time than packing for a bulk shipment. As for non NA people ordering boomerang feet, I'm not sure how he'll handle that. Only a small quantity of feet were produced and shipped to me as a test sale. I guess I could put a pre-order on my site, and forward the information to him (that way he's not wasting time on invoicing each person). I'll discuss it with him.

Since I'll be heading to Taiwan for a week, during first week of October, I've also arranged to meet sprit for a couple days and hopefully help him out on shipping & getting a better idea of the remaining orders. Perhaps I can bring a luggage of PCBs back?

Customs are gonna give me a funny look if I bring that as carry on......

Some bad news:

Shipment is sitting in Korea DHL warehouse, waiting for customs clearance before flight. I went over the uploaded commercial invoice, and there were a few incorrectly filled out sections by Sprit (wrong incoterms used, no HS tariff code, etc...) So most likely DHL will have to modify the online customs form causing approx a day of delay.

I'm also partially responsible, since this was the first time importing from Asia with DHL (I've one imported from US, lot more slacker customs). Sprit was also unfamiliar with the DHL customs form, so I can't fault him for that. I'll go over each point step by step next import to prevent further delays.

So what does this all mean? Shipment will most likely be delayed, and there may not be enough time for me to receive & pack it before I have to leave on the night of October 1 (to complete some unfinished stuff from last month's family emergency overseas). I'm sorry for the bad news, but I hope you can appreciate the transparency and updates.

I'll be returning on Oct 10, and can finish packing over the weekend. Everything will go out on the 13th.

In the meantime, Sprit is focusing on packing remaining individual orders.

North American Acrylic case orders can now place additional feet orders on my site. For boomerang feet, I only received about 10 colours of each and only 2-4 for orange-pink matte & purple transparent. Sprit has informed me that there may be some defects in the boomerang feet due to the laser cutting process sparking, so actual amounts may vary. I will not send defective boomerang feet to you, but do understand that if your requested colour is out of stock, lead time will be two weeks.

Didn't take pictures of the packing since I'm on such a tight schedule (will be leaving in a couple hours). I did take a pic of the gigantic box though.

Case Assemble Guide !

* Prepare : 2mm Hex Driver, Fabric cloth, very Fine Brush (to clean dusts), Toothpicks (to clean the holes)

Bottom :
- Remove the Protection coats on the top surface only.
- Clean up the dirts and oils around the holes
- Clean up the remaining dirts at the edges
- Screw the PCB Raisers to the Bottom Case (Do Not force! Gently!)

Top :
- Remove the Protection coats on the bottom side only.
- Clean up the remaining dirts at the edge
- Screw the Top Layer with the Bottom (Do Not force! Gently!)

Feet :
- Remove the Protection coat, screw the Feet to the Bottom.
- Put the Bumpons to the Bottom

It's 15mm long, 3mm diameter general Bolts. You can use any similar bolts (+, - Head)
But Hex bolts are safer for less driver slipping accidents, IMO.

I don't know if I'm putting the bumpons on wrong or tightening the screws unevenly but if I press on one side of the case it will tip to the side I'm pressing on.

You probably have the bumpers on wrong. I'm not using them because I'm on a mat and I have no tilting.
