So, like, it's shipping now LOL 10/17-2022:
Sorry for updating late. I was out of the country getting married (after having the wedding canceled 3 times bc of Covid) for basically the one and only week this entire year i was disconnected from technology hahaha... and that's when SURPRISE! No one told us, but the set is currently shipping to vendors, and then in turn the vendors started shipping to customers! :eek:) So i'm really sorry for not updating before now, but yeah. The set is shipping early. So that's exciting! I am pumped to get them in during the season it was originally created for! :)
A "sort of" ETA update 09/12-2022:
After speaking with my rep from Kono today, it is looking more like ETA of MAYBE Dec of this year. We are currently trying to lock down a more firm timeline update and I'll post that here when I have it.
I know it’s a far way away from the original ETA and over a year after I approved color samples, but unfortunately there’s not much we can do about it - production is running at full steam all the time. The good news is that GMK is working on making updates to their process and communication for future sets. It unfortunately just won’t be in time to affect this one.
As an aside, I'm going to make an effort to be more active here bc I just realized life got away from me and it's been a LONG time since I posted any updates. :eek:

Just a little update 11/30/21:
GMK is a long way out, as most people already know. We are currently looking at Q3 2022 for delivery, and I'm hoping that doesn't get pushed out.
The excellent news is that I have color match samples. These aren't the best pics, but they are daylight, and I think they show how close the color is to the RAL chips. I am super impressed that GMK banged those colors out on the first try. Now I really can't wait to see the set in person. I hope you're excited, too!
