My mother is a vet and lived in the country when I was younger. We've always had dogs, cats, and horses around.

Just found some photos of me with childhood pets. Don't remember this cats name, but it looks like I loved it haha

We also had a pet bullfrog that was around a foot long named Sam, seen here with my sister and I

We have quite a few animals at the moment: My sisters cat named Mouse

This girl (Sunny - because she loves lounging in the sun) showed up in our yard in 2002. The vet figured she was around 1 year old at the time, guess that means she's around 13. No clue what she is a mix of. Sweetest pet we've ever had

Lilly the Border Collie and Alex the cat loving on me

Lilly and I on the way to the park

My moms horse named Beau enjoying a Dr. Pepper, he's 27:

Salt and Pepper King snake named Steve:

Currently turtle-sitting for my neighbor whose on holiday

Whoa!  Quite a collection :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Two new cats we got recently from a local shelter.  They move too fast most of the time for proper shots of them, but here they are:

Fran d'Elbie née Putty since she was found behind a Home Depot.  Her name Fran is because she will get this loud whiney meow reminiscent of Fran Drescher in The Nanny and d'Elbie for da' Lil *****.

Still trying to figure out a good name for her.  She just got fixed and is all hopped up on drugs, so her personality is still a bit muffled:

The grey one (currently named Wednesday) is probably my favorite of the two.  She's so quiet.  She even purrs quietly.  That and the Shrek Puss N Boots look on her face.  Both are awesome and I know both will be trouble.  Fran will probably be pretty big since she has puppy paws even though they're supposedly 6-8 months old.

I had a half-arab named Bo. Short for Mr Bo Jangles; he made it to 33, and still had the largest feet of any horse I've personally been responsible for. Odd, for an arab. And like Beau, he liked people-drinks. Helped himself to my coffee once, and I heard he sucked down somebody's martini before I got him. (though whaddya expect; the guy set it on a fence post while he was talking :) )

Below, find my current Tennesse Walker 'Strider', being abruptly woken from his nap by the off-track thoroughbred Callie.

Not my own cats, but they visit every day since one year now. They get food and sleep on our garden chairs when it's raining and when they are lazy in general.  :))

This is Lucy. She showed up screaming at are front door.
Looked like she hadn't ate and was way to little to be away from her mother.
Posted flyers to see if anyone was missing a kitten and no bites.
I belong to her now.

First is the boys. Reily(Back golden), Asher(front golden), Smokey(English Shep), and Bud(part rat, not mine).

Then there's Suka, Sadly I don't have any photos of Sassy, but she looks almost the same just darker.

Now for the two unconventional ones. Natasha, and Lavie. These two girls are Giant House Spiders sizing in at over 2 inches. They keep my garage bug free, and fight off other spiders.

But you are literally fighting spiders with spiders!  Isn't this like fighting fire with fire?  I don't see the benefit.      Honest question, as I am simply confused.  If you didn't want spiders wouldn't you just not buy them and place them there?  You are now guaranteeing the existence of spiders!

I live in Oregon USA so spiders are a factor of life. They're harmless, the worst they can do is a slightly painful bite that lasts for like 12 hours and is gone. I usually will get rid of or move spider that are on things I use/am about to use, but if they are in a spot like Natasha who's under a step then I don't mind them staying. It's interesting looking at their webs to see what they've eaten too. One common house spider in my garage had two Cellar spiders(daddy longleg looking ones) a beetle, and a couple moths. Natasha I saw had a few centipedes.  As long as they stick to the garage I don't usually bother them.  :thumb:

Also the they do fight wild fires with fire sometimes  ;)
