Title: Hi All!
Post by: SooperBoom on Mon, 18 May 2020, 12:29:19
Hey everyone!

I'm new to this community, but not new to researching mech kbs.

I have a burning question I hope I can get answered...

If I'm interested in getting a full-sized kb like these:
https://www.taehatypes.com/bokcp (https://www.taehatypes.com/bokcp)
https://www.taehatypes.com/duck-lightsaver-v3 (https://www.taehatypes.com/duck-lightsaver-v3)

How do I buy these? Do I need to go to Aftermarket sites? Do those exist?
If I wanted to get in on a group buy for a custom full-sized kb cases & plate, where could I do that?

Thanks for reading.

Those aren't full sized, but 96% layouts, or navless layouts as they're sometimes called, or some variants are called 1800 layouts after an old Cherry board. You don't have to buy special aftermarket keyboard to get that layout. In fact, I just bought one for $30 on Amazon.

Here, it appears to be $40 now, but that's still basically a steal. https://www.amazon.com/Mechanical-Keyboard-Connection-Multi-Color-programmable/dp/B07WC5YFJV/ref=sr_1_10?dchild=1&keywords=96+percent+layout&qid=1589846307&sr=8-10

As for group buys, I don't know, I don't really bother.
