I see great bidding in the near future on that caps which says "CHEAT"... It sort of fits with RA on a certain keybaord.

I call for a giant keycap sale! I would buy a few of those too, namely the spare Geek Hack keys. =D

My signature hasn't changed since 2012. I should really update it.

No picture does these keycaps justice- well, at least not with my crappy picture taking skills.  ;D  In person, they look more vibrant.

Is that some shine on that Ducky space bar already?

I do like the yellow though :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

The YOTD pretty much came shiny.  The keys have no texture, so new keyboard + washed hands = fingers slightly "stick" to the keys.

Yeah, as I rub my fingers over the keys that I never really use at all, they seem smooth as well, so I agree. Shame really. Maybe if/when Ducky bring out new keys, they will be more textured. I like the texture of both the POM and PBT keys.

It comes rolled in a tube, and it doesn't lay flat yet.  I hope it flattens out soon.
The shipping from Newegg was hella fast, but look at how they packed this stupid thing.

Snagged this Goldtouch ergo keyboard off the "free stuff" rack at work.  These were the standard ergo keyboard where I work for a long time.  I now see a lot more Kinesis Freestyles (which are RD but feel amazing), but this is still one of the nicest rubber dome keyboards I've ever used.

Show Image

Awesome!  That's encouraging, I just pulled the trigger on ordering one of these (the v2) new for myself.  Glad you like the feel of it -- I was hoping it would feel ok.  Not a huge rubber dome fan but I think the ergo abilities of this board will outweigh the rubber dome factor.  At least that's what I'm hoping!

Make sure that you pop off the badge and switch it to AT before trying to plug it into your PS/2 port, otherwise you'll fry it. Nice score though!

And my RaspB. Pi, thought I was gonna have the V2, but "only" V1.B.

Got myself a new (old) mousepad today...

My old mousepad was starting to get a bit grimy after a few years of very frequent use, and it seemed only fitting that I should get a mousepad with a leather wrist rest to go with the leather wrist rest I have for my keyboard.
