Oh man! Don't tease me! I've been looking for a high-end, custom 96 ever since the group buy for my previous choice fell apart, but nothing's really floated my boat. I was hopeful for Kira, but it's turned out to not be what I'm looking for in an end-game board thanks to the fixed layout & some other factors. I've got the switches on-hand & a set of SA Oblivion on order to build my end-game board, but no board. There really is nothing in the all-aluminum, high-end custom space for a 96 & it's bumming me out. At least the refund of my failed 96 helped pay for this behemoth for my wife!

I'm pretty fond of the big ol' block of keys look from a 96 (which is why I prefer the CP to the regular 1800 style layout) but another great layout is similar to the Focus 1001 (http://telcontar.net/KBK/KBref/Focus_FK-1001/top.jpg) that the Oblivion (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=94753.0) over in the IC forum is based on. It's basically a 75+24-key numpad, so I've nicknamed it the "99" layout in my head, though I'd prefer different indicators to free up the two 1u spots for more keys & the addition of a modern bottom row including OS keys. It'd be an interesting take on the full-sized boards.
I've actually been teaching myself about PCB design while I tweak my personal "perfect" layout in KLE, since I don't think I'll ever get it any other way but to do it myself. Geekhack has been a great resource so far for that & I'm excited to get the Mountain in my hands to take a peek at how you've accomplished such a feature dense board yourself!

Can u give me more information about firmware for the screen? What are the options? What can we customize? Could u give us pictures as well of different options?

Just for your information i have to ship it to shipping proxy first and they ship them out. Using shipping company is too expensive here and with just 20boxes i can't negotiate shipping price. It may take 2 days to ship to proxy. All we can do is to make sure when the case came we can ship out them

Not just a few bucks. I called dhl directly and they said shipping to us cost 150usd. This is way to expensive. After shipping proxy receive the package they will give tracking number and i will fill them in paypal

I expect there will be no drop in quality for the re-anodizing vs doing it right the first time. Otherwise I'd expect you/EVE to start over from scratch & provide a new set of parts to be done right. I refuse to accept any drop in quality due to errors entirely on your part, especially given the premium nature & cost of the keyboard in the first place.

I got mine today and the finish is fantastic! It looks like I didn't get the OLED screen with my package though, I didn't order an extra but I thought at least one was included with the basic unit. I haven't seen one yet, and I'm wondering if any ended up as advertised, as mine turned out teal and JDragon's turned out black.
Here's mine. It is a lot more darker in terms of the blue. The level of functionality in the PCB is amazing though!

So, I FINALLY got around to building mine, and I love it, except I can't figure out how to move the FN key to where the FN2 key is (on my board, next to the right shift). How do I make the FN key turn into a Windows/GUI key and the FN2 become FN? Also, is this something that I can do via an editor? I find many people want ISO,but only a few buy those layout when it comes to groupbuy...It's hard to do it when there's only very little demand for iso.
