Rosewill baffles me why they don't change their logo, its hideous.  I would probably consider one if it wasn't for that.  I will be hitting refresh all weekend... I don't care for new leopolds either and all the older ones are out of stock.

They sure do want you to see it! A piece of black gaffer's tape will take care of that, or you can paint your case. I'm right there with you on the Leopold thing; I don't care for them either. I know some people claim that Leopolds are "comparable" to Filcos, but in my opinion, they just aren't at all.

Don't waste your time. I highly doubt the shipment will come in on a non-business day. And even if it does, it won't be processed until the following business day. You are much better off grinding Inferno in Diablo 3, and checking back in on Monday.

I thought about picking up one of those Rosewill's but I've heard from so many people that get defective boards I'm a bit hesitant. Plus I'd like to get a Ninja TKL for gaming.

I am using a Rosewill with reds as we speak and have not had a problem mechanically with it. My only complaint is after 2 months of use some of the keys are already showing considerable wear. If you plan on changing  the key caps though you shouldn't have a problem with the Rosewill's.

That being said I still would like a filco TKL with reds.

AFAIK, Aamazon receives shipments overnight, and then updates the stock around 1-2:00 am PST. Ergo, if it isn't up now, it won't be today. But I would love to be wrong about that!

Hi All.
Latest news is that most of the stock is moving around the USA to various Amazon warehouses (They have us using three locations now???) this week and we hope to have it all in place by about Friday, although it may be a little later. There is a good chance the Red switch models will list earlier as we are trying out a slightly modified method with them.

Thanks for your patience.

FYI - The Black Ninja TKL Browns just went up. =D

I actually had to refresh 5 times, and then verify it through my wishlist because I wasn't sure if I was reading it correctly.

talk about limited supply... like if something sells out so fast and people wait for months shouldn't they get with the manufacturer to order more than 10? seems totally idiotic to me.

Yeah. It raises an interesting question of how many of each board does Filco manufacturer at a time?? I have no idea. I wouldn't think it would be too many. Most people are happy with their crappy $8 logitech so I can't image $150 keyboards is a big market. Hell I was happy with my $8 logitech until I purchased a Das on a whim and was hooked ever since.

Valid point. Their established marketing presence engaged a new audience to such products though. The majority of those customers still don't know who Filco or Ducky or any other niche brands are. Same question still stand though on how many are they really selling?

How fast do they update the count? It's 1:27pm PST and I just ordered the Filco TKL Ninja browns and it said there was 1 stock left. Any chance I get an email for bad news?

EDIT: Okay, maybe I did nab the last one because I refreshed the Filco Amazon page and the listing for the TKL Ninja brown was gone. O_O WOW.

Were there Reds earlier today that vanished?

Confirmed, no more TKL Ninjas with brown switches.

As far as the reds go, I don't think they are in stock yet.  If they were and already sold out, I will be a very disappointed GHer. :(

I'm hoping that was just the stock from the west coast warehouse, and that as the shipments arrive to the other warehouse locations, more will come in stock.

I think the numbers we are seeing are more a function of how many keyboards The Keyboard Company has forecast demand to stock for North America, and less a function of how many Diatec/Costar can supply. But I could be wrong. If this is the case, I think The Keyboard Company might have underestimated the demand a bit, though. Bruce, feel free to chime in here. :)

I bought a TKL camo board with browns yesterday. Not part of the new shipment, they've been available for a while.

Why does the camo board have blue LEDs? Green or amber LEDs would fit the look better.

RSI prevention recipe:[/B] Kinesis Contoured, Colemak layout, touch typing, Contour Design Rollermouse,  Logitech TrackMan Wheel, Logitech m570 trackball, "workrave" break timer software, "awesome" window manager, tenkeyless boards, cherry browns, Wang 724 with "ghetto green" ALPS, standing desk and/or comfy adjustable chairs, stress reduction, computer time reduction.

Fun non-ergonomic things: bolt modded Model M Space Saving Keyboards with new springs, Kensington Expert Mouse v7, Unicomp Endurapro, Northgates

Yeah. The camo board needs to get modded to nice dim green LEDs.

Don't panic guys, we have more browns on their way from other locations in the US. Should be listed in the next couple of days.
