I've heard about these "Girl Scouts Cookies" and come to the conclusion that I really want some :( Damn Americans hogging them all!

I can already see I'm going to have to ship some of these abroad. I better make sure there is no embargo first.

:D

Pretty sure there is no biscuit embargo in the UK, although whatever you do don't send them to Australia (more for me :D)
unless they have some unforeseeable downside (like they're actually made of cream cheese cunningly disguised as ABS)

Currently working on eating a box of samoas, we have over 200 boxes of girl scout cookies I couldn't resist.

Lucky! My fiancé went to the Girl Scouts Oregon HQ and they didn't have any cookies at the office... so disappointed

My daughters in girl scouts, she sold quite bit, guess I should have posted in the classifieds haha :D

The caramel delights are where it's at

Not sure if you knew, but those are called Samoas in some regions.  Though they actually have slightly altered recipes, so they do taste different.

For anyone curious, there are two different bakeries that make GS cookies, and I've noticed that some flavours that are supposed to be the same (like Thin Mints) will actually taste different depending on which bakery they came from.

^^ I did not know this!! Thanks for the info. I know depending on which region/troup etc they have slightly different product lists as well.

I'll be damned--had no clue about that!

Should be a Snapple fact

Today, I saw a pile of a half million tires.  Too bad nobody will actually care until the pile burns and the toxic smoke will force the evacuation of the surrounding area.  Then everybody will ask, "why didn't we do anything?"   We could have, idiots, but we're so concerned with being friendly to bad businesses that we decided to let the pile sit for a few years.
Wish I had some gif or quote for this space, but I got nothing

First day in school this semester. The Information Systems class sounds like fun, mostly because the prof doesn't take it too seriously and admits it's pseudoscience. The other two courses are much more hardcore though... and I spent most of the day watching the Olympics, although I considered boycotting them at first.

Went and destroyed my shoulders at the gym after waking up at 15:00. Since I've been taking supplements I haven't had the aches the day after, so I guess it's going well? Can't see any difference yet but it's only been a few weeks and I'm still trying to sort out the routine.

Now I'm at work still with 4 hours to go until I get to go home.
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

Researched dyeing ABS caps with powdered rit dye.  I think i found a method that will work without melting the caps.  Even long spacebars.

Today I cooked a Lean Cuisine meatloaf meal and a macaroni and cheese meal. I then proceeded to just dump the macaroni on top of the meatloaf meal and eat the entire thing using just a butter knife as a spoon. God dammit I'm a fat ****.

You fatty mcfat fat. Just remember that ribcages aren't tertiary sexual attributes!
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

Had to finally wash the Landcruiser, the amount of dust and dirt that fell off it, I could plant rows of lettuce and harvest it in a few weeks.

Also had to chase and capture two Pitbulls for their monthly wash before applying the advocate medicine to keep the parasites away.  Nothing worse then trying to get Archie into a bath tub for a wash.

Cleaned the drive way with a Karcher and planted some extra shade trees besides the west-easterly side of the house.  Probably will all die before winter.
