Poker 2 LED Mod - F key won't light up...Help!
« on: Mon, 20 January 2014, 19:56:22 »
Hey guys,

I just did my first soldering project. Took a Poker 2 with Reds and changed it to Clear switches with LEDs. Everything seems to be working except for the F key LED. I've tried redoing it twice (even switched the long/short end to see if that would fix it), and with the 3rd brand new LED in there it still won't turn on. I'm really new to this and any help would be appreciated.

Did you check the resistor of that led?
I like linear switches

Is there an easy way to do that without gear? Sorry, very new to this! Thanks for the help.

You shouldn't do without gear, at least you need a Digital Multimeter to measure the resistor. Or maybe just replace the resistor to see if it works.
