Path of Exile just released a new expansion.  It's a free to play arpg similar to diablo 2.  It's a lot of fun.  I also play overwatch and hearthstone

I've been playing a lot of PoE as well.  It's a really good game, about to get even better when the 3.0 expansion comes out in a few months.

I've been thinking about downloading this and playing it but I think I will wait until the 3.0 comes out.

The changes are so significant if you haven't already invested a lot of time you really do want to wait for 3.0

Been playing some Player Unknown's Battle Ground.  God damn is it hard lol, but pretty fun.  I think I jump at maybe 80% of my deaths, can't recall the last game that had me so immersed.  Only been running solo's so far, best was 3rd.

Crystal Caves (Apogee). Really hard game actually.

And I got inspired by world tetris championships. It looks so easy what they do, but try to imitate them It's darn near impossibruh!

Gonna give Wildstar another go.
I played it when it released but all my friends quit pretty quickly so I never got around to maxing out a character. Hoping to do that this time around.

Just waiting to hear from support. Apparently I had 2FA on and I deleted Wildstar from my google authenticator a long time ago.  :p

Been playing Day of Defeat (Source) lately. It's quite good but gets repetitive quick due to the limited engagement points in the official maps, but the game is a good balance of fun and challenging.

Still enjoying some Age of Empires 2 as well, playing with people from Twitch. Good community.

Been playing Prey, and it has definitely lived up to the hype. I'm about 14 hours into the campaign, but I do a good bit of exploring. Still have many side quests to complete.

I remember playing the original Prey on the very first gaming PC I built for myself. I was worried that the 2017 version would be garbage and could never be an equal of the original, but they are both good in their own right!

How is the horror handled in this game? I know it has a lot of action sequences, but when it's supposed to be scary it is jumpscare-type of stuff or creeping dread kind of stuff?

I think there's been one jump scare I've encountered. Most of the tension comes from the atmosphere, and not knowing when a mimic is hidden as an ordinary object waiting to ambush you. However there are subtle clues that can tip you off (identical objects located closely together) Also resources are limited and you can be easily overwhelmed by some of the stronger enemies, so you have to be stealthy while you observe the scene and decide the best approach (there are always multiple ways to solve problems in the game)

My only complaint is that the weapon selection is a bit limited compared to other shooters, but it does take place on a research facility. Also you can upgrade yourself by researching the enemies and gaining the same powers they use, so that supplements the weapons.

Game is awesome, loved it when it was just a mod for Insurgency. The learning curve for that game is pretty retarded if you go solo starting out.

Does take a while to get into everything as there is so much to do in that game.
My friends and I usually play for several hours when we start it up.
It's not just one of those games you play for 5 minutes and then take a break. :D

I've been playing quite a  bit of Rainbow Six Siege lately. I think one of the recent updates jacked with the net code though because I've been getting killed under questionable circumstances a lot more lately.
Maybe they're waiting for gasmasks and latex to get sexy again.

Normally, I would say the same, but my friend and I have used Shadowplay (or whatever it's called now) to record evidence of some blatant BS. Most of the time it can be calked up to bad aim or slow reaction time on my part, but there have been a couple clear instances of being shot and killed before the enemy even appears on my screen or when an enemy is facing another direction (my ping is usually around 50-60 ms, so it's not my internet connection).

I am a huge fan of post-apocalyptic aesthetics and D&D mechanics, so I'm into Fallout - all of them (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fallout_(series)) and Wasteland (a couple of years ago they'd released a sequel and I absolutely loved it).
Then, of course, it's Starcraft (1998 and the latest Legacy of the Void)  :thumb:

Hope it's better than the first one was, the core concept was good but it got old really fast.  However coming to PC this time i'm a bit more excited since it won't run like a pig stuck in mud.

Just finished Superhot. Looks great. The gameplay gimmick they introduce half way through switched it up nicely. The game sort of reminds me of a Half Life mod I used to play back in the day called The Specialists. I preferred the execution of the broadly similar plot in Pony Island but it still does it with a lot of style.

Also playing a little Sayonara Umihara Kawase. Physics based Japanese 2d platformer where you grab onto stuff with a fishing line and throw yourself around the place. It's nice. Good for 15 minute bursts anyway.

Some of the older shooters like COD 4/WAW MP, Battlefield Bad Company 2, Battlefied 4 and Bioshock 1. Also been playing some campaigns on Total War Fall of the Samurai and Medieval II. Didn't really pick up much games during the Steam sale so I've just been playing some older titles like these ones.
