Corsair finally got back to me about the switches used in the mouse and i can't say i'm exactly thrilled with the response...though i do appreciate them having got back to me.

EDIT: Corsair finally got back to me and told me and i quote "That information is not available for this mouse" i asked why and i was basically told that because it's a cheap mouse the factory that makes the switches does not release that information...and i should just trust the 2 year warranty...not exactly confidence instilling for long term use.

It makes me want to recommend this mouse even less now having heard that bit of information.
