I'd like to clear up that this isn't IC or GB thread. I'd like to conceptualize the project together with the community. That is at least what I have in my mind right now. I do have couple ideas already in mind which I'd like to bring on this project and feature it on this limited board. Will share more details soon.

P.S Thanks to those who voted for Cosmos HHKB as GH's KOTM.

Please don't expect much. This is a project where I am afraid that many would support due to my plans for it. These boards will be very limited. Only the amount I could handle by myself as I wanted it to be perfect and special. If nobody supports it then I'll try my best to create another one-off board like my Cosmos HHKB. I will be sharing more details real soon.

The idea right now is to get community involved coz many community members contacted me for Cosmos HHKB, but I didn't want to ruin the idea of having a one-off board so I decided to create another project.

Okay, I just added some details for this project. I also did quick mock-up of what the layout will look like. I modified the Cosmos HHKB and rendered some images to share.

To begin with this, I will design everything with the help of community whenever I have the free time. As we complete the design, the project will move on into IC stage and if enough interest obtained, I'll start a GB for it. Initial plan is to only make 6 boards in 6 different colors. Each board will be unique. Layout is not final. I want to keep it small in between 60%-65%. Def not another HHKB layout or maybe a HHKB JP layout instead of the one I have below. What do you guys think? The project will start with certain keyboard layout, once that's decided, I will create a custom PCB for it. I just started reading up about making custom PCB and this should be the longest part of this project, but I'll def ask for some community member's help on this one. After that, I will design a new case on CAD and I will make sure that it is as simple and sleek as Cosmos HHKB design. I think that will be all for now. If you have other suggestions, lmk. If you're interested on this board and wanted something to be in your future board, lmk as well.

) You're probably not aware, but there are couple GBs, on going and in production, that are above that price tag and those aren't as limited as this one as well. This def won't be a cheap keyboard kit. I am afraid that nobody would be willing to pay such premium price for a keyboard kit. This is also why I want the community to be involved on this project so that I could get all the resources I need to pull this out effectively. I've said it before that I don't like the craps and troubles that goes with creating huge GBs so I decided to make it limited that I could easily handle by my self. This is for me to create 6 unique keyboards funded by 5 other enthusiasts. If in case this doesn't get enough interest, we'll still definitely see one made which is the one for my self as I love bringing my ideas in to life.

As for the case design, pls take note that those rendered ones is a modified Cosmos HHKB case. I will be designing new case from ground up for this project. A simple yet timeless one, hopefully. If you got anything to share, such as case designs, ideas, concepts, please let me know. I will try to implement it on this board. Thank you.
