Finally diving in
« on: Sun, 19 March 2017, 18:55:11 »
The mech keyboard subreddit wasn't satiating my kb need quit enough, so here I am!

I'm relatively new to mech keyboards, or even having an opinion on them. I bought my first mech 2 years back (a pok3r with cherry clears) and knew there was no way I could go back to membrane switches again. Since then I've picked up a full size CODE with clears, a KBParadise TKL with clears, a CM Storm Quickfire with cherry blues, and a Corsair K95 with browns (wish I would have got a tkl for it).

Of those, the pok3r is most certainly my favorite. I use it as my daily driver for work and even bring it home for when I need to "get in the zone" with coding.

Having loved the small form factor of the pok3r and layer system, I took the plunge and ordered a Planck. I'm interested to see how I get used to an ortholinear.
