[IC] Diablo Sanctuary Set

After some discussion we've determined that the best platform to rerun the highly-anticipated Diablo Sanctuary Set will be in either Cherry Profile PBT or DSA PBT!

1) Cherry Profile PBT - modern Beige with the Diablo Font - all black on red keycaps - same style legends.
2) DSA PBT - all black on red keycaps - centered legends.

As an avid D3 player, it has come to my mind to attempt a dyesub using the Diablo font, but not being able to dye brighter on dark put me off so far. E.g. red legends on black keys. I think centered font on DSA would suit the theme best. Also, original set?

We're going to need some pad-printed diablo legends on the sweet gmk goodness. MOQ will be higher than usual but it looks like we're off to a great start!

Maybe we can add independent color add-ons for each classes. Like for Sorceress, there's green\gold combo somewhere. I'm going based on D2 because.. well, it's better than D3 (Sorry not sorry).  :p

However, I would totally be down for a GMK set in N9/(RO2 or P3).  We wouldn't have to copy the red row 1 like the SP set, but could include a few red based keys similar to what has been done on other sets to just add a little color (esc, enter, caps, asdf).

hmm, if we're going to go GMK, i guess this is the most logical color to be. this speaks so much diablo for me, so i think it's okay.

Not a huge fan of SA, but I would support it as long as the set didn't get too huge (read: expensive) and it was fully sculpted.

Yup, that is where I found the picture.  I have the original set that was run years ago, but really wanted the gamer and ISO sets from massdrop. 

SP doesn't leave much room for profit.  I also have no interest in running this, but will gladly do some of the legwork in getting it set up.

Yup, that is where I found the picture.  I have the original set that was run years ago, but really wanted the gamer and ISO sets from massdrop.

hmm, this is pretty interesting. if we were to run with SP, the choice was either go DSA or SA. DSA is kind of.. meh right now, so i think SA will be a interesting choice.

if we were to go with GMK, i think the problem is how do we make this sanctuary feels.. sanctuary, or else we won't get any better than "another-GMK-set".

SA would be neat, but the queue is already gigantic and only growing larger.  GMK wouldn't be as interesting due to the legends, but it could still be worthwhile with the right novelties.  DSA seems like the best bet other than people possibly not wanting the uniform profile.

Hey Sherry can MOD Keyboard \ MaxKey be a viable option? Saw some pictures on Reddit it didn't seem that bad if people are interested in SA profile. Not sure how other people think about them, though.

As for the novelty idea, maybe we can have an icon of popular skills based on the character. For example:

Is there a way to do this in GMK with custom font? I mean considering T0mb3rry for example is having them make custom moulds for completely revamped Cyrillic legends I assume there's no reason they can't make them for he Diablo font.

It will be expensive though of course but given regular legends would be moot point for this particular set (in my opinion) the costs would be cut down a fair bit compared to doing a separate kit entirely.

PS: I'd be down for doing this in double shot DSA if anything, centered legends would look great and I think the Diablo font would be way easier/cheaper to attain that way and the production times are completely off the rails like SA is. SA wouldn't really fit the motif either in my opinion, caps are too bulky for the feeling the set tries to pass off I'd say.

I'd love to see Sanctuary remade, but really any good black/red/grey/white sets are nice IMO

Figured, Yuri's Cyrillic will probably be priced similarly but it'll sell a bunch and be made cheaper because of that I guess. At $300 per set obviously that won't work, $200 might but 300's too crazy even for fanatics. Plus accounting for novelties which are a big part of this set the price would be totally fkd.

Shame though, I'm sure it'd look great in GMK, I love their blacks and reds.

SA wouldnt appeal to me but thats probably a minority. Honestly I'd prolly buy the set again if it was just a nice T H I C C DCS.
