What's the significance of the red control key and light blue esc key combo?

I see that they make that combo as a limited edition for the HHKB and was wondering why that color combo? Does it have a significance in homage or something?

not a limited edition or anything

was just the only option for customization for HHKBs for a while

Didn't they originally market it as a Christmas set?

I never quite understood the combo either.

All red I kind of get but mixing in the blue I dunno.
