So I saw this moviementuray recently... "Algorithm - The Hacker Movie". One of the topics was about bitcoins, in which it is argued that having bitcoins and dealing with it takes away power from the government and other established institutions.
BUT.. this is bull****. Where can you trade bitcoins? Where can you obtain them? On digital markets, owned by companies, who are then owned by the established banking industry, which then leads back to the supposedly "established order" these "fighters for the free world" want to stay independent of.
Am I missing something here?
