The capslock and control has different size topre stems (smaller diameter).. So I decided to leave all the modifiers original.

Also, I don't know how the stabilizers will work on the larger caps. The topre stem helps keep everything nice and in place.

Nearly all of my old Topre stuff is found on Yahoo Auctions Japan. Admittedly, very old Topre boards like this do have a stiffer feel that doesn't "snap" as nicely as a fresh Realforce/HHKB for example, however, in a blind test I'm sure I'd still be able to identify it as a Topre against any other board.

This is a pic taken a few days before the MCRW-5000 arrived. It shows most of the Topre keyboards I own, with the exception of my work keyboard (87UB), the Deskthority Tour board (104UW) and a board that my brother is using (103UW):

What a collection. However, I think there is no HHKB Pro, any particular reason for not having one?

I'm slowly customizing my 87u. I bought a full new orange set but I didn't realize it didn't include the 1.5u control key.  Is the Limited Edition Control Escape Kit that EK has for sale compatible with the RF 87u? I also remap my backspace to the pipe/backslash key so I need blanks (or printed) caps for those. Where can I find blank 1.5u, 1.75u and 2u caps?

Nice keyboards! Clack has a sale going on right now, over in the artisan section of the forum. Head over there, and go to the clackvent thread. Every day for the next 2 months, the first person to comment after he posts gets the opportunity to buy a clack!

SO, I finally sold that last kidney and ordered my last keyboards for a while, directly from Korea (thanks to the friend of a friend... #proxyftw). I badly wanted a RF 55g since my 1st one in 45g and the new Leopold FC660C. Well, they are home now. And I'm happy. VERY happy. Time to sold the MX Family (I'll keep the FC660M though, I just love that layout).

Damn, I remember my life before the drug. When I was happy with any layout, when I wanted FRENCH KBs, when I thought ABS was okay for keycaps. Ah, life was cheaper then... :p

(More information but not only Topre, feel free to skip :P)
