I meant the CC numbers, I don't think I would like a full size topre board, my HHKB is good enough for me. I imagine DMLK is drinking some milk, gives him healthier and stronger boners

What helped me was figuring out the cable is right above the 8 key on the hhkb

That's genius! I actually had to reset my internet banking password on the first day I got my hhkb because I got it wrong too many times since I couldn't touch type the numbers  :blank:

Yes blank board. The numbers took me the longest to get down, although now I don't have a problem. Except sometimes when I don't have my hands on the board I still use the 8 under the cable trick to position myself.  :)

Hadn't realized it, I don't think I could do with a TKL either, although I might be worried that other topre boards will feel different, that is why I have no interest in the Novatouch or any other Topre boards.

Where did youse get those Aussie layout keyboards?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Coincidence!

Rowdy does not believe in coincidence.

Yeah finally got my Novatouch. I had to pick it up at the post office. Here some "potatoes" pictures of the unrapping process:

This is the box. You can see my daily driver on top of it. It is Azhdar Poker II w/ blacks, blank black PBT caps and a warlord novelty.

The keyboard inside:

And the beautiful keyboard:

This the bopomofo version that I bought from Ascaii on DT. I must say that I like a lot these caracters below the latin alphabet. Even though I can't understand any of them it is really nice.

Regarding the Topre switches as it my first time with them, I must say that I'm quite surprised. At first when I opened the box I hastily pressed some keys and I was like "mehhh, is that all what this fuss is about?". However after plugging it in my computer and writing this post I must say that I start to grasp it. The transition between the black and the Topre are hurting my fingers! I was not used to bottom that much anymore. The bottom out is quite hard on the finger, I feel the shock in them. I guess I must learn to apply just the required force and not more. The ABS keys feel different from my wasd set. This one feels less smooth. I feel as it grips my fingers. I also switched from an ISO layout to the ANSI one. Too much beautiful keycaps set for me to pass on.

May I say that I joined the Topre family now (even though I was some more customization for it coming soon)?
