they really are, deacon's hellfire been getting the most attention of anything since i got em. having to take a brief break from them now though because my baby was starting to feel neglected-

Great color combo! How long did it take you to get your cable from Pexon delivered?

not actually sure atm because i added my order onto a fellow australian's to save shipping. i think i was like a month? perhaps a bit longer. i'm a patient person though, especially for this hobby.

I received my Hypersphere rings a couple of days ago and finally got around to installing them today. For whatever reason I decided to make a little timelapse video of it. The quality is pretty poor, I was using an old Canon HG20 video cam. Unfortunately I lost the first part of the video due to some sort of SD card corruption error, so the video starts at a random point in the process. It's most certainly nothing spectacular, I just did it for the lulz.

If I could only have one keyboard, and the choice is between a HHKB and an Atreus, and I travel a lot, should I still go Topre? Even with the high price tag on that HHKB? And also assuming I wouldn't get any fancy-pansy caps or artisans? And that I probably wouldn't be able to purchase a keeb for the next 10 years? And also assuming I'm a complete mech newbie who has tested no switches but wants light switches? ARGGGHHHH :'(

The best way to love Topre is to test other switches before. Then start using Topre, be underwhelmed, go back to whatever else and realize how damn fine they felt.

Topre needs to be earned, you can't just be wowed from the first moment.

Are you convincing me to start from the bottom? Don't worry I'm sure I'll just spend as much money even if I don't go Topre  ;)

On the other hand someone told me once that there was no point in trying out other switches, since I'll end up with Topres anyway  :D

Nay, first was a QFR with MX Blues, which I had for a few years. I had lusted after the HHKB for a long while, and finally a trade opportunity came for one. I've tried other MX switches, and while Ergo-Clears are easily my favorite, they don't compare to Topre imo.

I've pretty much dropped MX entirely at this point:
