Get one of these to complete your looks.  :))

Batman | Undone

The Caped Crusader:

The Dark Knight:

I opted for the latter since I like the gray understated look more.  Have to be honest, I'm pretty impressed with the quality of the watch considering how much they cost (or in this case, don't cost).  For the price, it has the hybrid movement (ie. quartz with sweeping hands)

Package:

It came with a pair of Bluetooth earbuds and an extra pair of straps (the vintage grey leather you see in the pictures above):

I don't know, if we have to stay at home any longer then I might get that Caped Crusader too.

Need the real batman  >:D or batgirl  ;)

Very nice watches!

I sport a Datejust 1601,

Although, I have been thinking of selling it to be more minimalistic. But I have had it for some time now, and it is actually a quite okay investment, so I think I'll keep it.
(Also it's a beautiful watch ofc)
Have you also thought about selling, I mean sometimes I can feel it is a bit silly to have an expensive watch, feel a bit "show offy", and pretentious..

I just bought that Undone watch and it was around $300 and some change so no. Just buy whatever you like, wear it and enjoy.  That's about it.  If "someone else" thinks it's a bit show off then that's just them.  I enjoy a Casio as much as a Rolex or Patek.

Yes you're right ofc, one should do what one enjoys :) Have been eyeing a cartier tank for a while, so in the future (when I'm not a poor grad student) maybe that will be my next watch! I like watches with traditional/"smaller" housing, the 1601 is 36mm and I think that looks quite nice.

Nice, the rollie lovers are out I can see!  I'm still rocking my Sub no-date since forever.  What model/year is this?  14060? 14060M?  Mine is a 14060M "two lines", from 2005 I think (I should check the papers).  It only has two lines of text instead of four like on yours. Already posted it in another thread here back in the days (I'm not good at taking pictures):

steel would scratch aluminium, but the watch doesn't really get close enough

it will scratch a macbook if you type on its keyboard though

You don't need a special occasion to acquire a nice watch!
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

Had this beauty for 2-3 years now. I use it daily, so it's a beater to me. Before this, I had a Tudor Black Bay with red bezel.

Today, I am looking to add a new diver to my collection. Probably won't be as high-end. Considering the new Seiko SUMO. However, I do miss my Tudor, and really, really like the Pepsi one.

Never thought I'd ask this on a keyboard forum, but for people who wear dress watches to the office, does anyone else have problems having them fit under your shirt cuffs?

Literally all of my dress shirts (Brooks Brothers, and prior to finding an off the shelf brand that fit, custom) never fit anything modern. I could get by with a 1960s Omega, when watches were much slimmer than today. Admittedly with custom, you can get wider cuffs, but I was surprised that standard Brooks Brothers shirts didn't accommodate modern watches.

[Admittedly, I haven't worn dress shirts for most of the year now.]

I have minimal issues when I wear my dress shirts - Vinyard Vines, but my JCrew stuff has a tighter cuff and so does my B.Brothers.

Honestly, if you have a nice watch why not show it off? But if you need to have a watch that fits under the shirt cuff I wouldn't go vintage, but something modern, cheapest example would be SEIKO Dolce HAQ (High Accuracy Quartz).

You do have to wear a dress watch to go with dress shirts. Orient Bambino is a great example but there are quite a few others.

Many of my watches are way too thick for dress cuffs. Even my old dress watch (an Orient) was ~12mm tall which is too thick. Hoping the new piece (~7mm) will be a little more svelte. I specifically had this use case in mind when looking for a new watch. Almost pulled the trigger on a Bulgari Octo Finissimo (~5mm), which felt great and not at all fragile on the wrist.
