honestly, i didn't make the cables myself; a friend did. he used a drill to make them.

rip trippers is a great resource on youtube for making various coils

looks wicked. maybe digital mods aren't your type but vaping at 20watts is da bomb. i still don't understand how can people vape at 50, even 100watts. 30 watts is enough to choke me.

I tend to go for about .18 ohms for my coil, with a fresh charged battery, that's around 100w. It's perfect for me

I know some people that are running 0.1Ω coils on dual battery mods pushing around 7.2vdc on average. That's about 520w of power. Development of a regulated mod that can push 200w+ allows these people to continue with their preferences with more repeatable results and a fair amount more safety.

I think most people attach eyelets to fdv 510s, then solder to those eyelets. not entirely sure myself since I haven't had the time or care to build my own box.

Hmmm, that's interesting! The photos are slightly misleading. I don't have a drill for the hole of the 510, so I had to file it and it's far from perfect. And the paint, it's ok, but nothing great. And the lid, I tried doing a magnetic closing lid, also not working all that great, but it might be due to the rats nest inside it pushing it off.

to me, i have a ton of these kinda things, i just think its nice to have something made by someone, and it would be a cool thing to add to the collection and have around my desk, no pressure to do it, was just an idea, and to express my interest if you fancied taking another pop at one

I'd be really interested in a box mod even if I had to do some assembly, as far as the board goes where do you guys buy DNA 30s and 40s?

Why the clapton? Also do you use pure VG or something else?

claptons have a lot more surface area giving more sites for atomization of the liquid. some cloud comps actually limit coils to twisted only etc excluding claptons from competing.

can you guys give a few good sites to buy juice?
I'm new to this, i have a basic vaporin kit which looks like an ego; bought it overseas in the summer, and finally the juice in it is finishing it was disgusting (never buy vaporin juice). But, without juice a vape is nothing, so any help is highly appreciated!

What Jay said. I wouldn't mind using my loose twisted but no one has taken me out for using my claptons yet. 24 with 30 wrap. I wanna try a staple build soon. I'm using 70/30 or 80/20. A friend of mine makes a lot of my juice.

I was just going to say, the switch doesn't need to carry the full load going to the coil.  There are ways around that.

I've heard from a coworker that you can get USB powered batteries that hook straight into your clearomizer from a port on your computer, thereby allowing you to vape sitting at your desk allllllll day. Anyone else know of this?

Thats what the passthrough feature does

Yea I just looked it up. Convenient for unlimited charge, but looks like most are weak and don't produce good vapor. This would also look ridiculous with a Kanger SubTank on the end of it.

Ayy, a couple more builds. I don't like that the MutationXV2 is smaller inside than the Plume, but the deep well and bigger post holes are a huge plus. and the airflow is so much more.
