Gonna be a bit more delay on assembly, he finished a few but a few more to go..

All good :) Is he shipping them out individually or all in one go when they are all done?
Just asked, all at once.

Thank you for the quick reply! Good luck to Leeku with all the boards :)

What size should the indicator LEDs be?

Also note that the resistors that are pre-installed are rated too high for 1.8mm RGB leds to cycle! They will still work but they will get stuck on red and not cycle.

I finished building my Compact SQ last night and used JigOn to configure it with my usual keymap.  I have one question though: is it possible to map a key using JigOn to toggle the backlight LEDs on/off?

Backlight or Case lights? Backlight can be toggled if you set up different lighting profiles then there is mappable keys labeled LED toggle I think.. As fae as case lights I think a few pages back someone said only way is by setting them all to black.

Ah, I'm asking about the case lights here.  You're right - I read the post about setting them all to black.  I'm guessing there's no way to configure the keyboard such that I could toggle between "RGB-on" and "RGB-black" with a single key yet.

I hate to be a bother, but can someone who built the Alu + duck feet set measure the length for me? I'm going to order a custom wrist rest from battlestation.io while I wait for my Zealios.

Are all of the parts shipped? I bought just a kit and still haven't received any tracking or anything like that yet.

Leeku told me he did not ship a few orders with alu skin due to the quality and ordered more (waiting). If it was the simple acrylic kit then I can ask again.

Does anyone know what those small inserts are called that the case screws screw into? Or where I could buy some new ones? Want to buy some replacements!

Rivet nut insert. I do not know the size offhand, but I'm sure you can measure it

Update:

5 out of 8 keyboards assembly done

Will be finished by February  for sure.

He apologies for the mess it has been, he might not be offering assembly next GB due to time constraints.

Next GB might be limited as well (in smaller quantities)

--

For those asking about ALU Skin there are 5 bad ones... He does not want to sell them because they are turned out very bad, he did order "a few" extras" as well as the 5 that he deemed unacceptable quality.

- He will let you know if there are extras when closing the GB.

Any news on my missed ISO plate?

Talked to Leeku - the factory skipped the ISO plate the first time, he is having them cut two ISO plates

Oh man hopefully I can get in on one of those alu skins since I don't have a skin without inconveniencing another member.

This would be really suitable as a build for a friend. The value is astonishing as well.

I'm assuming my order must be one of the 5 bad aluminium skins, I didn't have mine assembled. Any ETA on the replacement skins?

Finally the LEDs I ordered came in so I could finish assembling it last night... didn't want to put it together and then have to disassemble it, though might have to do it anyway since I am not sure about the titanium screws I bought. I was planning to anodize them but the 9v batteries I had for anodizing seem to have drained.

62g Clear Linear Zealios and Hyperfuse I just bought. Pretty happy with how it turned out.... looks almost the same as nathanrosspowell's, who also happens to be who I bought the Hyperfuse from  ;D

I've messaged LZ, Leeku, and Meiosis if there are any extras available. :(

If anyone has one of these for sale with the Aluminum top and bottom and universal plate. Please PM me. I also would prefer if it was a barebones kit, but we can work something out.

On a side note. Everybody's build is coming along nicely.

Totally agree. Nothing wrong with the acrylic bar riser that comes default but definitely worth springing the extra for the duck feet. The duck feet are actually better finished than the case....

I might get the feet and the top skin (got the clear bottom skin) redone in gunmetal.  Not sure yet though.  Don't have a silver board right now.

Anyone know if the Num/Caps/Scroll lock LEDs are programmable to be always on in Jigon? It seems no matter what I map the keys to be they're always off unless that particular lock key is enabled then they're on.

That would be a good look.. do you have a source for re-annodizing? Pricey? I kind of like the silver right now too.. though I have a couple other silver boards already.. both 60% though.

I might get the feet and the top skin (got the clear bottom skin) redone in gunmetal.  Not sure yet though.  Don't have a silver board right now.

That would be a good look.. do you have a source for re-annodizing? Pricey? I kind of like the silver right now too.. though I have a couple other silver boards already.. both 60% though.

I've never had it done before.  I couldn't tell you.

Anodizing in the United States is a bit more pricy and hard enough to find a shop willing to do a small job, it's been $80-120 for a tkl size keyboard but since these are just slabs I imagine it's much less.

For the debate:

The feet is from duck and the skin is from LZ.

Oh I'll probably just keep it the same then.  I think they are both done well. Very happy with the board.  Just gotta find time to build it :(

With all that clack money you're getting why would you spend ~$100 on getting it reanodized? It'll be a one off and super rare, since that seems like what most people care about nowadays.
