Anyone can get that as a result of lagging or some internal error; unfortunately it doesn't mean that you were simply too amazing to be believed. :P

I peak out at around 95, but I usually type at around 80 as an average.  My brain is too slow to process it any faster

Nice!  Sometimes I think the only reason I can type as quickly as I do is because of all that AIM and MSN from back in the day.

I've had severe eczema (mostly on my hands) since I was born.  My pinky and ring fingers always had cuts on them, so I rarely used them when typing.  I average around 100 WPM or higher, but I could probably increase my speed if I practiced using all my fingers.

There have been quite a few other people with photoshopped results in da sig.

No need to photoshop it though, the URL leads to an image "1_wpm_score_CP.png", where the two capitalized letter determine the wpm.

I average about 85 wpm on typeracer and 10ff. When I took the 5 minute test on hi-games I got a right around 79 but I wasn't rushing and made a lot of mistakes. On typeracer I have seen my wpm at 120 but I always choke or make mistakes. If I had 100% accuracy I'm sure I could hit that kind of speed but for now my highest repeatable speed is 105.

I have had a blank HHKB for a week so I know that I can touch type without looking. The number row is still a little iffy so I will type a 7 instead of an 8 or something. I don't use any form of "correct" typing. As far as I can tell I use four fingers (index and middle on both hands). My hands fly all over the board but my left hand rests on Shift, A, W, D, Space (I used to play a lot of FPS games). My left thumb is used for space, left pinky for shift, and right ring finger for backspace (on the HHKB). My right thumb is never used for anything. I'm sure I could type faster if I learned proper technique but I don't have much desire to do that. I am pretty content with 80 sustained and 110 peaks using my strange style.

pfft i'll post mine 72 LOL using an old membrane keyboard with no brand on it just some funky little symbol Mi or something. My main problem is I tend to transpose letters when I type fast... fast LOL let me rephrase that when I "TRY" to type fast hah. If I practiced I'd probably  be 80 or 85 tops too much hand pain from making chainmaille as a hobby with bolt cutters and pliers before I became a PC gamer. I'll never be 165 or 200 or crazy stuff like that, but I would like to become a more proficient touch typist less errors.

That's odd, 10FF always seemed easier to get higher. My average is 150 on 10FF but only 120 or so on typeracer.
