Sofle RGB with Cherry keycaps?

Sofle RGB has a LED north facing setup for switches:



As far as I know there is conflict between LED north facing switches and cherry profile keycaps:



Is this true? Has anyone tried using a Sofle RGB with cherry profile keycaps?

Some switches have shorter travel but, it fixes the north/sound facing issues. I don't know what switches those are out of my head but,one of them is outemu silent peach.
