Ah ok, that's very awesome. Too bad gigabit speeds haven't come to my city yet, I guess it isn't big enough yet for Goggle to take interest in it.

This is through AT&T surprisingly. I typically don't like them. Best service I ever had was from COX. But I have been enjoying these speeds.

This is through AT&T surprisingly. I typically don't like them. Best service I ever had was from COX. But I have been enjoying these speeds.

Yeah I saw that it's from AT&T which is definitely surprising. I think it more has to do with Google or another company coming in and basically forcing the competitors to provide better service. I'd just like at least somebody to provide a gigabit connection and then everybody jumps on it and has to lower the prices.

I'm jealuse of all of these upload speed's, i get 70 mb down but only 3 up, so doing transfers through owncloud on my file server Is horribly slow.

My download is half the normal speed and I have no upload speed that it the test won't even work on speedtest.net :(

My internet speed is not as high as some seem to have, but since we had the phone socket replaced the connection has stayed up for more than two months now.

Previously it would disconnect every couple of days or, at its worst, every couple of minutes :eek:

I ran the test several times and it kept coming back ~115 down. I could've sworn I was paying for 100 down. Oh well.

It's OK for living in the suburbs down here in the South. My family pays for 30 down and 5 up, so I'm not complaining. Fastest available is 50/10, but it is a lot more expensive than our current plan.

Interested to see what some of you other guys have!
Upload speed has gotten a bit better since the last time I posted :). TWC upgraded us right after Google Fiber announced they are coming to Charlotte. When I use an ethernet cable, I usually get 250/50.

It's not as good as google fibre, but I'd say it's the second best and more readily available then some of the other exotic gbe services..

Get the 75/75..  that's really the best deal.. it's very unlikely you'll use 150/150..

There's nothing that large on the net where 150/150 will greatly reduce your download time vs 75/75

Yet 150/150 is way more expensive.

at my place I get 25 down and 25 up with 2ms ping to the closest center. at my parents they have 50/50 and could get 100/100. I think I could have higher speeds but I dont want to pay more rent or discuss it with my landlady as I'm happy with 25mb/s.

This thread makes me sad when I look at my internet and see Aussy folks complaining about their speeds ;~; I have like 5Mbps currently and maybe 800Kbps up ;~;
