Dear Geekhackers,

It is so far, the GB of GMK Camping r2 is up!
This last round of GMK Camping contents a Japan themed base and novelty kit.
The base includes hiragana mono legend alphas while additional Latin alphas are available as child kit.
With base and Latin alphas, you will be able to fit a TKL/full size board with a 60% board.
The base kit supports full size/TKL/1800/HHKB/60%/65% and various layouts.
Additionally, a Rama cap is available with this GB.

Good to see this has started up, I'm in for the Rama cap!

Somewhat disappointed that those of us with just R1 won't be able to join the artisan raffles, but at least that will prevent me from spending even more money on artisans )

We have past 1/3 of the 500 MOQ for the base kit, the Novelty kit has past the 150 MOQ, the Rama cap has past the 100 MOQ.
This only after the first day, pretty impressive although the communities kit and Latin alphas need some love.

No worries, no worries! Just thought I‘d ask again since I remembered it being mentioned, but tbh, my hopes weren‘t too high to begin with.. If it works out, really appreciated, if not, no dreams or hopes destroyed!

The 東南西北 arrows are what drew me to this set. Oof. As long as UV-printing provides decent results, I will be happy. Just don't cancel those characters on the arrows.

For the moment, I think I'll go for the UV printed characters unless I hear differently...
GMK royal typewritter and all those cyrillic sets have UV printed legends on the alphas and I haven't really heard any complain about those.
A friend of mine has been using his royal typewritter set as a daily driver for over a year, and he has even cleaned the set 3 times with soap, the caps already have shine on them, but no single issue with the UV printed legends.

There is no way I'll cancel those, not even another font.
GMK suggested to use another font, but I don't think it will solve the problem due to the nature that 3 of 4 characters are too complicated.
I tried to adjust the artwork, but it seems impossible to keep the vibe of these characters and being compliance with the GMK double shot guideline.

kinda bum about this. I'm sure it will be fine, but from the sample photos; my biggest concern is the finish. It has a glossy look to it compare to the rest of the caps.

Nope, just base and novelties. Label was created Tuesday and the first update was Friday, just like mgsickler mentioned it would for non RAMA. But yea, little confusing since it was received but not accepted, like its just sitting waiting to be scanned in or something. Here's hoping its not lost.

Your best bet is to split right shift of tkl if possible
