Board looks neat, but with the 2 nameplates, is there an option to have one of them as a blank?

Maybe I'm missing something, but I can't find the option to add the extra polycarbonate full plate?

Never mind, that's awesome it's included.

Can split BS and right shift. Both PCB and plate support it

When we design this broad,we used the Ancient Chinese letter. We think it's cool and represent who we are. People saying they want something in English cause they dont know the letters and i think that's make sense,so we design a English nameplate.

These 2 all have meanings behind this keyboard so sorry we cant give a blank one.

Btw, the Chinese means: zero, point, nine For anyone who want to know what it means.

What's an LDN PCB and how does one program it? Is it support on windows and Mac? or just windows?

I found a setup guide for the LDN PCB here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/7eikoug6omp82xe/C³-LDNrgb80pcb%20Quick%20Guide.pdf?dl=0

I think Mac is not supported.

Let me preface this by saying I agree with all of y'all about the lack of Mac support (my primary workhorse is a Macbook).

However, a workaround would be to install Windows 10 via Bootcamp. You can download the ISO for free from the Microsoft website (it won't technically be the full version but still works). It's also just helpful in general to have the ability to switch to Windows on a Mac when needed.

Not telling you to do this or that this is an ideal approach (it definitely isn't), but just saying that it's an option that's available.

Is the case compatible with other pcbs for example the h87a, from hiney?

Sadly nothing, they designed their own pcbs and have supported them well in the past. While qmk is nice and easy it's not the end all be all of anything.

I would assume so. I used the LDN V1 PCB in my Mech27 and it was fine!

"Have supported them well in the past... unless you use anything besides windows." is what I think you met to say. I'm not saying QMK is not the end all be all of everything, but let's not brush the strengths of audit-able code and platform agnostic software under the rug. Not having that IS sad

I will say the auditable code portion is something to consider and is a very good point I had overlooked. Multi platform support is a  for me. The install base of macOS and Linux is quite low worldwide. I can think of very very few people I know who *only* have macOS with zero access to a windows install or machine. How often are you reconfiguring your board that you need this anyway. It's a TKL not a 40 percent.

Before we go crapping up the thread more; The hineybush h87a which uses qmk is theoretically compatible with the aluminum version of this, it should be compatible with this too.

Is the case compatible with other pcbs for example the h87a, from hiney?

Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
Probably not. This PCB is little different with B87. A small change with USB type-c port. Plus, dont know if there any type-c pcb out there. I am not doing type-c pcbs because there aren't many cases fit it.

It's seems people are talking about QMK every time i post a keyboard GB.

When we first enter this community,it's the time B.fake is the largest used PCB.People are saying Chinese only make fake PCBs to me.This hurts. So me and my friends decide to make our own PCBs. That's when LDN have joined us and share this dream. He have learned how to make a PCB from nothing. With around a years work,we got our own PCBs the LDN series RGB pcb. We have all the functions QMK/TMK have and more. Along with fully RGB,faster chips, own developed software, etc. I know it's not perfect, software not supporting MAC/Linux etc.But we have come a long way and perfecting it as we speak. Right now LDN is working on a website-based programming system like QMK. We will release a new sound control LED effect before this ship out. So play a music on your computer and see how RGB led dance!

As for this buy, like someone said in this thread. This is a TKL, how often do you need to program it. And as far as i know there's more window than mac in the world now.
