Title: Help with stabilisers? Gon Nerd 60
Post by: Zentaaa on Sat, 13 January 2018, 10:05:44
Alright boys, I have been out of the scene for couple of years now but have just found my old Gon 60 PCB that I was halfway through building.
I want to replicate my hhkb layout as shown below, I have no clue what stabilisers I need but I remember they were hard to source that's why I gave up!
Can anyone help pointing me in the right direction please? Thanks  :thumb:

You will likely need 1x 7u for spacebar, 2x 2u for left shift and enter

You need this (http://www.keyboardco.com/product/cherry-mx-pcb-mount-stabilizer-5-key-set.asp).

And, depending on the layout you have planned, specifically the size of the spacebar, you'll need either this (http://www.keyboardco.com/product/cherry-mx-24k-goldplated-stabilizer-wires-60percent-6u-set.asp), or this (http://www.keyboardco.com/product/cherry-mx-24k-goldplated-stabilizer-wires-60percent-625u-set.asp), or this (http://www.keyboardco.com/product/cherry-mx-24k-goldplated-stabilizer-wires-60percent-7u-set.asp).

Just as a reference, the 6.25u spacebar is probably what you're after. That's the most common - like the Poker keyboard.
